Blocking with Dark Hand is much better for your average brawl. But for an enemy as weak as her, I don't think you need any kind of protection.

You know, in 1.00 Dark Souls... he could actually cast soul arrow with that sword.

You know, in 1.00 Dark Souls... he could actually cast soul arrow with that sword.

I have had Glass Cannon Buff Builds with zero poise and under 800 HP and won plenty.

....and I am FAAAR from the only one.

Virtually all my early builds ran 900 or less HP. I rarely ever run more then 12 poise (1 poise based aesthetic item)

I won many ganks while going poiseless from forgetting to switch rings.

On-Topic: I've been off-handing the falchion, and I like to kick-> L1 for free damage. I recently found out that the R2 of the Claymore will hit them when they roll out EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I'm finding more and more combos with offhand curved swords every day.

Ultra Greatswords no longer stun 77 poise. On 20 different occasions while PvPing my 72 poise did the job.

I may be lucky or it could happen every time. I was walking from Firelink Shrine to the Upper Undead Burg and shot the rat in the tunnel. He fell through the floor, but I saw the shiny to indicate he had a humanity for me.

I went down the stairs and under the bridge and the message came up to Pillage his body. I got my humanity!

You can backstab the picassas. Those tentacle mid-flayer things in duke's prison cell area.

Never tried that. I guess there's no need, considering I can 1 shot them.

I was going on a rampage and taking it out on the specail picassas that drop the miracles, one tried slithering(?) away and i backstabbed it.

My friend just found out that you can summon Lautrec to fight along side you with the Gargoyles if you free him from his cell.

I had already told him several times that it was possible but he didn't once believe me until I showed him.

Yeah, his sign is kind of hidden. Not that you really need him. Solaire is usually more than enough.

^ You also have to reload the game and sometimes talk to him in firelink to summon him. That's why few people know he can be summoned.

Also, sorcerer and black sorcerer gloves don't go past the wrist on female characters, but they cause the sleeves to roll up to the elbows.
