[SPECULATION]Fina's curse

A really popular reason why Lautrec kills firekeepers is because he seeks humanities. A LOT of humanities.
Now what Lautrec could possibly do with all these humanities?
Is it an order from Fina?Is it an offering to Fina?

I thought a bit about it and then something stroke me.


Remember when you fight Lautrec in Anor Londo?
He's with two buddies. The Mage one is speculated to be a sealer like Ingward and the unknown women sealer in Blightown.

Since Ingward can lift a curse with humanity...then it is possible that the others sealers can do the same.
So since Lautrec has a sealer buddy,maybe MAYBE he seeks humanities to lift a huge curse.

Is Lautrec the cursed one?It doesn't really explain why he needs so much humanity.
So Fina's the cursed one?
As a goddess,the curse would need to be damn powerful to affect her.
So lifting the curse should require a lot of humanities.

What do ya think?

I think Lautrec gives her humanities just because hes obssesed with her. Look at his armor.

Well, Fina is a Goddess, so she needs the fires to be lit to keep her Godly status. Maybe she is just pretending to embrace lautrec to use him to gather humanity, then using that humanity to kindle bonfires and keep her powers. Maybe Fina evil, only caring about her self.

Yeah it's possible but doesn't explain the sealer's presence(if there is any reason).

But with his unquestionnable love for Fina,he would do anything including lifting her curse for free shag.

Maybe Fina IS evil after all...getting humanities so she can rises up as she doesn't seem to have a lot of influence in Lordran/Carim.
Yet doesn't explain the sealer...blah blah blah...if there is any reason and if he's an actual sealer.

Just thought you give humanity to the daughter of Chaos so she can surpass her illness caused by the Great Swamp's poison. So maybe Fina is sick?(doesn't explain the sealer...blah blah blah...again)

If this is true I doubt Lautrec would have killed Anastacia.

Ok.. we have established Fina is evil, and I just had a brainwave. Ingward can lift curses, and he is a good guy (Apart from being a mass-murderer) but the sealer with lautrec is bad... maybe that sealer is using his know-how of curses to... create one? its a long shot, but it cant be impossible, I mean seath did it, right? I dunno, maybe the sealer is being used by lautrec, who is being used by Fina to get what she wants... maybe she wants revenge on anor londo for not being allowed to reside there with the other Gods?...

Fina doesn't have to live in Carim; Siegmeyer and Solaire can be fairly easily seen as worshippers of Gwyn, and he not only lived in Lordran (not Astora or Catarina) but hasn't been seen by a single living thing in a thousand years.

At first I thought I would read some pretty crappy ********. lol
But yeah... I'll explain why I thought so: Lautrec kinda "teaches" you that the more Humanities you have, the longer it takes for you to go Hollow. A person with 99 Humanities is as close to a normal Human that an Undead can go.

Color me impressed; I automatically remembered the Chaos Covenant and how the Dark Soul has healing powers. Revert Hollowing, Lift Curses, Cure the Fair Lady and even actually recover your HP.

Fina possessed a "fateful beauty". What is more fateful than someone else curse you simply because you are beautiful?

MAYBE a jealous Gwynevere cursed Fina. Lautrec went to Lordran to get a sealer AND avenge his goddess. The only thing missing here is how the Warrior fits in...

The feel I get from the two named Sealers is that each of the three specialises in a separate branch of healing - at least from a lore perspective. Yulva cures poison and stops bleeding, Ingward breaks curses; I think it's more likely that the third could cast an Int. based healing spell. There is, however no evidence for that in-game.

Lautrec is a weird character, he states 'that keeper has served her purpose' (to anastacia), at first i thought he meant the bonfire, but the way he said it... is their more to fire keeper souls?
