My short rant.

Every day I make a supposedly countless number of references and parodies and only, like, 1 guy who's in my class at school understands approximately 2% of them.



Although of course I am only referring to the times when I'm NOT on the internet.

Whyyyyyyyyyyyy?

I use the simplest of internet jargon when around people I know and it seems as if I am talking to the wind. Where I live, you're lucky if you know how to go to a website other than facebook or YouTube.

It's like I'm just a Dark Force lost in space talking to itself.

Never gonna give you up came on the radio at work once about a year ago and I said 'oh no we're getting rickrolled at work' and nobody knew what I was talking about...

it's probably because you're the only one that likes whatever you're making a reference of.

I make Dark Souls references every once and a while. It's like I'm speaking Mandarin to them sometimes. It's even worse when I make a reference to the internet, I just get weird looks all the time.

In some cases, probably, but even when you see me make a reference to let's say, "School Days", a series I really, and I mean REALLY, dislike, nobody gets it either. Although most of the times it's as if I'm speaking in Japanese. Wait no, I actually do, sometimes, but you get the point. Doesn't even have to do with liking something or not.

There are around 8 billion people on the planet.

Sometimes it doesn't even have to be a meme or some series that you've probably never heard of before.

It's just like me with regards to all those new music sensations of the day. I know their names - for the most part - and I know they are enjoying high levels of popularity but I'll be damned if I can even name one of their songs.

It's actually a very inspirational quote if worded right. Unfortunately some young artist that I don't care for introduced it as an excuse for doing incredibly stupid things.

When I was surfing the internet for images I almost grabbed the wrong one, but then I realized that image wasn't in the original movie.

Sometimes the internet makes me hate people.

it actually sounds incredibly stupid any way you put it, first time someone explained it to i facepamed, it's just so lame.

I find that it depends on the way you look at it. Again most people look at it as a way of explaining their incredibly stupid actions. I don't, I look at it as a way of actually making some use of my life rather than wasting it away by doing nothing but self indulging things.

It can help certain people to move on with their lives and make something of themselves, but at the same time if you were to introduce the concept to an immature individual the idea quickly loses it's credibility and sometimes, original meaning.
