Is it worth buffing a Str build?

Do you think it's worth the investment into Int/Fai to buff a slow Str weapon?

Example: Greataxe, Demon's Hammer, Etc.

Duuuude long time. Depends on opponent but most will turtle the buff so it's best to use it if they buff as well.

Buffs are more worthwhile with weapons that have decent speed. It's a waste to buff a slow weapon. Those weapons already have enough AR to be a threat, no need to buff them.

yeah sure, as long as you don't mind sacrificing endurance and strength for more short term damage.

you could get a wotg as well.

you'd probably need a lighter strength weapon for a sl100.. sl 120 should be fine tho.

depends on the sl like rift said, if youre going sl 99 you're gonna have to make some sacrifices specialy with int, faith is easier specially if you're gonna use the lightter weaponss only,, like the LC or MSGS. if they turtle you can always dead angle wog or force to make them attack since they will know they cant turtle, pursuerss is awesosme for turtles if you go in with a club or an msgs and dead angle with the r2.

Resins sure why not. Also throwing CMW on an Mcat Str/Int is a no brainer. Investing significant points into Int/Fth just for a buff though... a strength build probably needs those points for End if nothing else.

I actually buff my DGM with DMB and seriously,I'm one heck of a glass cannon,I deal 15xx damage in 2 hits(+stun lock)

It is absolutely worth it to buff them. With only 15 int you get GMW, which with an Oolacile catalyst gives you like 150+ additional damage and also often intimidates the heck out of people. At 16, you can throw in DB as a backup surprise attack. One of my favorite str/buff combos is GC +15 and GMW, it does ridiculous damage and at mid levels can one shot people. CMW buffs are also quite possible on a 100/120, and are complete overkill.

He speaks truth here. Beef and I have 55 Str toons that buff with GMW (his GC and my MSGS). We roll out like twin tough guys, helping questers and embarrassing invaders.

Hey man, if you're gonna die in front of others, die environmentally. I look cooler complaining about jagged edges than if I was moaning about lag or boss cheese.

I was bored of not having a INT or buffing build and I wanted a build that could buff most weapons I like, including some STR weapons so I came up with this....

35 vit 14 att 40 end 28 str 30 dex 40 int its a 125 build tho! Kind of a Mura CMW build but can buff Large/Great club zwei clay halbert on and on its been pretty fun. Then you also have great scaling for Enchanted weapons or the MLGS ect!
