hello fellow dks players xD

hi there, i just started to play dark souls again, and i found this forum on wiki, and it seemed like it was a great place to ask for help/tips and make new friends

i havent played dks since it was 1.05, so i have a few questions about my old build and its weapons, i have a mid lvl ornstein build, with the spear and a chaos dagger, but if my mind aint playing tricks on me, im 100% sure i did alot more dmg with those weapons the last time i played. so, did the elemental weapons get a nerf or is just me beeing dumb again? :p and i had the dwgr on, and i think i was ninja flipping back then aswell (dont see a reason to wear the dwgr if not) but i wasnt now tho :p

Don't know about the damage, but dwgr has been changed. You can now ninja flip only if you have 25% or less equip burden used. Before it was 50% or less to my knowledge.

DWGR got nerfed. You need to have less than 25% Equip Burden for it to work now.

Elemental weapons also got nerfed. They lost roughly 10% of their damage. They are on par with Divine/Magic weapons now and +15 is the strongest upgrade path.

seems i have to level up my char a bit then, is the 120-125 still the "max" lvl?
or if any of u guys have an idea for a new build, a decent dex or str build. im not good at making buils lol, atleast not now since ive been away for a while :p

PvP meta seems to be shifting from 120-125 to 99-100 right now.

I think 120-125 is the highest, that most people use.
Also 99/100, 80 and 55 are commonly used.
55 is the designated forum event lvl atm.
DWGR I think is rarely used nowadays, so i'd suggest on making a fast roll instead if you like to have quick toon.

any suggestions on a build perhaps? cant rlly remember wich class was best starting for different builds
