Any interest in a tournament?

Anyone interested in an organized tournament? I was thinking of a team tournament. 4 teams. The way it would work would be this:

1. team 1 vs team 2 / team 3 vs team 4
2. team 1 and team 2 sends in their first combatants. the winner stays, does not heal, and waits for the next combatant from the opposing team.
3. keep going until one team's combatants are killed.
4. Then the 2 winning teams will face off the same way.

I'll donate significant rewards for the first and second place teams. The other 2 teams will still get rewards, but not as good.

If there is any interest, I'll try to set it up.

I would if I could :/ sounds like a great idea almost makes me want to get back into online play.

What I like about it is this: strategy. Each team will have their own chat room. The leaders of the team will have a second chat room to coordinate. Each team can decide who goes in what order. So, deciding the order will be a strategy. You have to know your opponent's weapons (won't know until the first match) and their weaknesses. You may send someone in to just weaken them, then the second person in to finish them off, as they will have a full lifebar and spells. That kind of thing.

We'll need at least 12-16 players (with a few subs) to make this work.

Great! An alternative, if we don't get 16 people, is to do only 2 teams of 4. Then have a 1 on 1 with the winning team to see who gets first, second, etc.

If we could organize 2v2 fights that'd be even better. That would change the tactics of pvp players completely in that sort of scenario.

That's a great idea! I didn't think of that. It would be like a forest brawl, only with honor.

Absolutely you'd still have to watch your back though. I don't see anything wrong with one person getting away from his opponent to assist a teammate.

From my own tries at 2v2 fights, it might be a woth looking at a BS ban, just far to easy to get them in those fights.

Good point. For 1 vs 1, I was thinking of limiting BS to 1 per opponent (or just 1 total), and only 3 WoG.
