Never said it has to be with this build of yours. Just wanted a hard challenge, and I'm pretty sure a 100 can be summoned, or invaded by a 87, so if want some of the items ask. I don't need most of them.

Just seems... odd that the ultimate test of skill is with an Uchi.

Are you saying that the Uchi isn't the most basic form of the katana weapon class?

No, that's not what I'm saying. Uchi is indeed the most basic form of Katana, as the Greatbow is the most basic form of Greatbow. But neither are basic. That giant dragon slayer bow will never be basic.

That's why I said most basic. The point of this build is to win against people while using the most basic form of their weapon class. So if I ever run into someone using a greatbow, I'll take out one as well.

Yea. at first the idea was "I'll prove my adequacy at every weapon in the game" then it turned into "I'll prove that I'm not only adequate, but superior to everyone else with every weapon in the game by beating them at their expertise"

For them I'll just get a weapon/armor combination that does really well against them. So maybe light-roll and a stunlocking weapon.

PS-Why not use the mail breaker, black knight greatsword, or the long bow?

AS long as they're not travelling in packs, I can handle wizards. You just gotta be patient and lame it out until they run out of spells and break their moonlight greatsword.

I'm not doing a "starting class" challenge because that would require a lot more menu swapping from me. I don't even know if I'll be able to to swap between 3 armor sets and about 15 weapons let alone about 10 armor sets and 20 weapons.

And the mail breaker, black knight great sword and long bow don't seem as basic as rapier, great sword, and short bow.

So what is your build?
40 dex, 40 strength, 40 end, and 45 vit?

Not only would having the 40s make me go way above SL 100, but I wouldn't be at that big a disadvantage(if any) anymore

Still, longsword is just the one that is completely basic. It's the base weapon of DkS imo.
I would also suggest trying a playthrough with each of the weapons one at a time. Make yourself completely familiar with them. Then you'll reach a pretty high NG+ as well
