Also, I just had a thought: would using the crown of the dark sun be a viable replacement for carrying an item of velka? IMO, since we must kill Dark Sun Gwyndolin in order to acquire it, wearing the crown would show that we adhere to Velka and not the Gods of Anor Londo. It's up to the Cov leaders, but It would be really nice if that would be OK.

Also the rules in the OP were changed to where you no longer need a Velka item.

@luvs -- How many casters do you know with over 400 def and a >50 poise break? And wait 'til you get a load of my sl 100... ( cue demonic laugh ). Keep talking crap and I'll make a faith/int caster (hcsm, wog, css... I can get dark magic now, too!) If you pay close attention you'll notice that Velka seems to use int, anyway. Velka's rapier scales with int and even though the spells associated with her are miracles, Velka's talisman casts miracles using int as the scaling stat.


@sword -- Sounds like a great idea. However, I'm not sure about the likelihood of encountering each other. Most hosts will have a phantom and the procession of catbros is never ending. I doubt they'd get two of us in there. Dark Anor Londo might be our best chance.


BTW, I did get 10 ears fairly easy in the kiln but after that the kiln I knew and despised returned. I took a break and I've been locked away in my laboratory in my mountain top mansion (the one under the one under the perpetual lightning storm cloud) concocting a SL 100 build for use in the 'despair shall become you' event. For which I am now signed up. Considering the rules allow a guardian to use summons and the reds will be using any means... will our no ganking rule apply? If not, I think it'd be fun to team up for that. Although if we're concerned about points; phantoms wouldn't get any. But, personally I'm more concerned with littering Anor Londo with blood stains.

Anyway I agree, we should do our mass invasion in Anor Londo. I hardly ever get to fight in Dark AL. Also, I like the idea of having us work together for the event. I think it would be great for covenant morale. And besides we'd be fighting the Darkstalkers. They want a gank, we'll give them a gank.

It varies alot but I would say most of our builds are over 100. I think the highest is Hugh's 156 toon.

@Squashy No particular SL. I have a SL 30, 100, 125, and 200.

What Soul Level should we do this at? Or does it not matter?

I would suggest 100, since we're prepping for next week and we all have a 100 anyway.

My SL 100 build is incomplete until I get dark magic but I'll do 100.

Can I be in the 100 range? I like to keep my Darkmoon at a level where it's easy to invade areas like Duke's, Anor Londo, PW, Township, etc.

Also, may I invade in the Township now?

Depends on the mood I'm in, sometimes I don't always try to look like Ornstein.

I enjoy Cosplaying, so sometimes I'll dress up like Ornstein.

Every time I've gone out for the Covenant I've been using Silver Knight equipment.

It's quite effective, and I'm capable of fighting without a shield so I usually fare well.

Ciaran is also quite fun to do while hunting sinners as well.
