You know it's bad when Blighttown has scarred you so much that you're scared to take the shortcut.

Heh, I hated Btown my first few playthroughs so much that the reason why I took the shortcut(ever so carefully so as not to fall) was so I didn't have to go through upper Btown. I ended up forcing myself to go through it on a ninja playthrough for the Iaito and Shadow set. Then I kept running it a few times because of how easily it went. Now I just do lower Btown only because it saves time.

I've gone through there 2 times alone, 2 times with a phantom.

I'm terrified of heights, so everytime I go through Blighttown I nearly have a heart attack due to the fear of falling.
