Things that make you feel old

If it makes you feel any better a few months ago I did a playthrough of Adventures of Link and still remembered how to do everything. I did Ultima: Exodus too. There are a bunch of great NES games that are still awesome today. Hell we had an Atari when I was a kid. I remember playing Asteroids and Space Invaders and being blown away. We had a Texas Instruments gaming console too. I can't remember what it was called though. I think we had it between Atari and NES though

Speaking of nephew, i've a grand nephew and niece, that makes me feel old then again the nephew is only a year younger than me.

Going to an all ages EDM show makes me feel REALLY old.

Knowing about and acually using a cassate tape when I was little. Playing the first version of Poke'mon, which was Red version. And also playing the first version of Poke'mon Pinball and banging my had on my GameBoy COLOR out of frustration and broken the GameBoy itself.

I still emulate the original Gameboy sometimes. The one before color. There are a few games for it that are still pretty awesome today. Super Mario 2 was great, and Megaman 2, and Castlevania 2 Belmont's Revenge is one of the best action oriented Castlevania games ever made. Easily some of the best music they had before disk based systems started coming out.

The levels in 2 where the worlds are gigantic and tiny were definitely the begins of some things. Although I have to say I've enjoyed quite a few Mario games since. Mario 64 was probably the first game I was ever truly addicted to. Such a great game

I admit it, Mario is pretty great. My old roommate had a Wii. I got him galaxy for Xmas. I was sad when I moved out and couldn't finish.

I bought Galaxy, and was still playing Fire Emblem at the time, and it sat on my shelf wrapped in plastic for about a week, and then somebody robbed my apartment, getting my WII and games, and I never ended up buying one again. Kinda sucks. I was excited to play it. I liked both 64 and Sunshine, so I'm sure Galaxy was great. I liked most of the offshoots too. Mario Party is pretty great if you have a group of people that all want to play, and Kart is just awesome on its own.

I know I've said this before, but I like most of Nintendo's flag **** series. Metroid and Zelda have never really disappointed me

That sucks.... love that movie. On the plus side for me, our growing bitterness lead me to obsessively read the Dark Tower series (reading is the only thing that effectively can distract me when I'm upset, which was a lot back then).

Yeah my decisions after that one were a lot less productive. She can't take Beetlejuice from me at least. That movie was mine way before it was ours, and is just too spectacular to give up.

I'm lucky I don't have to deal with any ruined series/writers/directors I loved all Mario games, except I never got to play 64 and anything newer than(and including) Paper Mario. Mario Sunshine was definitely one of my favourite games.

Dude, go play 64. You can play it on all kinds of new systems. It was definitely more challenging than Sunshine. Some of the later Bowser levels, and the last 2 or 3 regular areas were amazingly difficult, like Rainbow Ride, and Tick Tock Clock.

Actually maybe I'm wrong. I'm only seeing a port for DS. I really thought they made it for more than one other system though.
