My 64 still works. And it went through years of wear-and-tear at the hands of an admittedly pretty sloppy kid.

I find that most Nintendo products are built to last. At least a lot more so than Sony and Microsoft products. I still have every Nintendo system I've ever owned, save my Gameboy, and they all work. I was just playing my NES the other day. Play my SNES all the time.

I still have my SNES and NES as well, and I can certainly say they are much m ore durable than my PS2, which broke after 5 years.

I think I went through 4 PS2's. One of them got stolen, one I had until it started disk read erroring and wouldn't work anymore, one of them my dog got caught on the controller cord of and pulled off a table, and the last one I still have. I'm not even sure if it still works though.
I just pulled out my N64 and I'm playing Mario 64. It's making me so happy. Been awhile since a game has just made me happy to play

Plastic, I might check it out on an emulator then. The one thing I do know about it is pulling the cartridge makes it look like Mario's tripping.

Yeah 64 was the best! i just started playing zelda and the mjoora mask again.... The zeldas for the n64 are actually pretty dark for the kid audience. i remember bieng scared **** on the first boss of ocarina of time. those were the good zeldas. i dont wanna offened anyones love of skyward sword, but i just cant take that game seriously.. hard to explain but it just doesnt have the balls of the other ones.

I've never had a N64, but one of my friends had one when i was about 5, so i did get to play it.
I had a NES though. Nothing beats the ice climbers theme.
