First FC Tournament!

Exactly, that sounds right to me.Now we need to aquire a consensus o how many fights per player and I think that will make everything much simpler and doable.

Im going to put my name in the hat, 99% sure i can make it. Should be able to host when other hosts are up to fight.

I agree with maybe a prize pool of some sort. Im willing to throw in a Crystal Claw or a Crystal Man Serpent Greatsword.

You are my all time favorite host Mildred, we can practice too if u have time msg me.

I personally don't need any prize more than knowing I won to such talented players, but that's just me.

Initial postings say sudden death tournament which suggests single elimination not avg of fights. Has this changed? If not the the brackets idea would be best, but as it stands at 22 to start, there will have to be byes.

Great to have you back. I do not PVP during the week either, so I will be rusty with you.

If it is not too late for a newcomer to join, I would love to participate.

I love fighting Baal. GC vs GC. Epic fights. Plus, he is really really good. Green and Yesu - ditto for you. Always fun fights. You guys are so damn mobile, it is really a challenge. I usually fail hard at tourneys. So, I'll likely not last long.

I can host as well. I can also provide replacement items, if people run out (humanity, blossoms, grass, etc).

Awesome this is going to be great! Also I'm and NZer so apparently 9PM EST is 3PM for me. Just to clarify is this today or the day after is 12:30 am here now.

Brackets are the way to go. Be prepared for some people to not show up. Life sometimes gets in the way.

Rant you going to create a new chat for this event? I would suggest these to make it easier:

1. Double Elimination
   
2. Everyone be online at least 20 minutes early for the event.
   
3. Rant invite everyone to the chat from the participant list for a group chat.
   
4. Rant create a seperate chat for the hosts to post results
   
5. If we have 24 participants, we can have 4 hosts with with 6 participants initially assigned to each host.
   
6. Each host keeps track of who is going when and then reports the results.
   
7. Each host will have 3 advancing participants, totally 12 total.
   
8. 2 Hosts for the second round of battle for remaining 12, 6 participants each host
   
9. The other 2 hosts will start the bracket for the "runner-up" where the remaining 12 will battle, 6 per host.
   
10. 3rd round of battle will have 1 host with the final 6 participants who have not lost.
    
11. The 6 losers from the from the main bracket battle against the 6 winners from the runner up bracket. 6 winners advancing
    
12. 4th round of battle will have:
    
13. 3 undefeated from main bracket sitting out a round
    
14. In the runner-up bracket the 6 winners who advanced will battle, remaining 3 will battle the 3 losers from the main bracket.
    
15. 5th round will have 3 hosts each one battle each, final 3 advance
    
16. 6th round will have individuals with a loss battling each other, if there is an uneven number of participants with losses, then Rant as the coordinator chooses the participants for the next fight 1 V 1 with the winner advancing to the last fight with the winner crowned champion.

It sounds like we need to finalize the host list and participants for each host before tomorrow night then.

I will just remove myself from the contest and just help out hosting and keeping track of wins and losses. Does this sound good Rant?
