Xbox was too big. The other one was too small. :/
Xbox 360 had the D-pad issues, otherwise it was the best, although I disagree with the analog stick placement and the first version required batteries. Ugh...
Gamecube was pure and utter chaos, but it was decent. it could use better materials and more sensitive analog sticks (they were actually digital in this case, but nevermind) though.
PS1 was decent, but PS2 was better. Mostly colour issues. Love black.
PS2 perfection. Ok, it has cable, so? I don't mind. I need to recharge my PS3 controller twice a day. Ok...I can go and change the battery again.
PS3...those f*cking triggers break on me at least once per month. I always have to replace the springs in those goddamn things. The newer, chinese, version is utter sh*t. The quality is unbelievable! I still have a Japanese made DS3, bought right on the release. I had to repair it like 10+ times and triggers are making me rage, but it's by FAR superior in every aspect to the newer ones.

PS4...is that touchpad? Why the hell? Move is in it? What's with the retarded handle design. Goddamnit Sony, this looks like some sort of dual dildo. Here's a thought for a new game.

Though I do agree PS2 were better with the triggers, though from personal experience I can say that the ps3 controllers can take more of a beating

I hate those parts that you put in your palms. They don't have the same shape as DS3, they look like Move. I can tell it's gonna be annoying to hold for prolonged periods of time.

Again, I can understand why they combined the controller with Move, but if the goddamn thing is gonna try and limit my controller movement like DS3 tried with some games...well, I guess I won't be able to remove it this time. :/

Beating? I suppose you have made in Japan version then. Made in China versions have plastic half as thick. One of them literally shattered when it fell from meter and half height on a floor in the store where I used to work. They cost the same though...

Well I think I might officially be ending my gaming experiences with Microsoft if all these rumors turn out to be true.

But if I get a PS4, and hopefully its backwards compatible, than I can finally play Demon Souls!

They are both not backwards compatible.

I would expect Microsoft to patch games (or at least not be shocked by this) like they did with the 360/original to make backwards compatibility a possibility.

Sony has gone on record that their desire is to make their entire Playstation library available via streaming (which is why they acquired Gaikai). They just have to actually, you know, do it. Kinda like the Remote Play dreams we've all had since PSP

Despite my love for my 360, I will probably end up with a ps4. This thing with paying to play used games is BS.

will places like game stop even sell the xbomb 1? it cuts into their used game sales and its already got such bad press that the console itself likely won't sell well, is there any reason for game stop to sell this thing, i mean you'd have to pay for it twice from what i understrand, once for game stop and once for the activation, therby doubling the price unless game stop just becomes a distirbutor not a sales buisness...

They have it posted already so yeah. They kinda have to. If they start fragmenting and lose a portion of the game audience they're done. Specialty shops like that need to be a one stop for their niche usually.

was always a semi fair, usually biased debate between xbox/playstation. but now...ps4 may be lacking in this or seem odd with the new controller issues. but..xbox just took a dump on its main customer base. if they dont back peddle, alot. anyone who buys that thing is a certifiable microsucker.

2) Kinect isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just hasn't been used to it's full potential. Look at how Skyrim did Kinect (I know I'm talking to the wrong crowd here, but still). It was still Skyrim, but you could Voice Activate to open your bag, equip weapons, order followers, and the like. As an OPTION, that's pretty sweet.

Edit: Or the Dead Space 3 rumors (I never used my Kinect with the game, so I don't know if it's true), where if you swore the game would fire for you. That kinda thing would make Horror Games awesome.

2) The problem with Kinect seems to be that players just don't want that thing in there in the first place, because they consider it a casual toy, similary to Wii. I know it sounds stupid.
I admit, I don't know what Kinect did with Skyrim, I know that I do NOT want to control my games, my TV, or my multimedia entertainment center (I can't call this a gaming console) with voice commands. I am not lazy to press buttons. It's just taking lazy to another level and honestly reminds me of the people in Wall-E.

I would appreciate this technology used in many other departments, not entertainment. It's seriously wasted here.

Ya, sadly fake applause are not to rare. Just not often brought up. Its the TV affect, no pun there. But, price is right for instance (again not trying to reference the reveal just the one I KNOW DOES THIS) actually has people waiting in the back and when someone is called up to the stage they go down and fill the seat. So there is never ever an empty seat for the camera to pan the audience. Same concept, showmanship

rumor I just made up. They edited out all the 'boo' sounds from the audience. Oh, wait this reveal doesn't need false rumors it just sucked on its own never mind Microsoft F'd it up enough

I still don't understand how the system works. In the conference, when they gave a voice command, the Xbox did what they ordered, however they kept talking and lot of the words and sentences used could be easily misinterpreted as commands, yet the Xbox did nothing. The phrase "Xbox" before the command isn't a starter for this, because at one time, the person only said "Star Trek" and Xbox found info about the new movie, even without the command "Xbox" said previous to the "Star Trek".

Kinda strange...

Someone pointed out the guy had a powerpoint clicker in his pocket. I didn't bother checking as it's not as if we need proof that this technology works. From my point of view it was done this way to streamline the conference.

Only truly positive thing was the Controller, it looks really good.
This may end up me only buying the controller and stepping in the lines of PC master race.

EDIT: But let's not doom xbox just yet, we still have E3 ahead.

Not only will this console NOT sell to informed gamers (i.e. people on the forums here and elsewhere), but just imagine the clusterf*** that game retailers are going to be left with after Christmas, when the average mom and dad storm in freaking out that it won't play the used games they bought their child!
