I heard about it being one of the hardest games ever, so I actually thought you'd fight the Asylum Demon like that, which is probably why I didn't pay much attention to my surroundings.

I knew the game was hard, but when I saw the sword hit two damage I knew that the hilt was not the way to kill the Demon.
Nobody would have the first enemy in the game be that tedious, nobody at all.

After DeS's Vanguard, I kinda asumed that Asylum Demon is supposed to kill me and if I defeat it, I'll get to a secret area. So I spent hours trying until I finally got the OMG SO USELESS HAMMER and left severely dissapointed and exhausted.
