@Derp, how can you even come onto this thread and say that it's bull that 2nd and 3rd place don't get a prize. Are you pitching in the money for prizes? No. Technically the prize isn't a pre order of DkS2, it'll be a $60 Digital GameStop Card. This is to help our youtube channel and twitch.tv get known. So no disrespect please.

@Acarn, what's the point when 90% of people either use a mule on their main acc, or use a mule on a secondary account.

@Shadow, the first post has the rules. I'm 99.9% sure the rules won't change for this tournament(July 20th) anymore.

I kind of have to agree with Derpwraith. Although it is a great courtesy, thank you, it functioned well when someone from the community ran the tournament and everyone knew each other.

And obviously Call of Duty and Dark Souls don't mesh, hell I hate playing Call of Duty. And 90% of people who've played Dark Souls and don't like it are casual FPS strollers.

I do think I title change is in order too.

I play cod often and im probs 1 of the best dks players what does that have to say to u and yes im good at cod but not super good like in dks and the title is fine cause a souls fan would use that money for dks 2 if they won im pretty sure most would.

Irrelevant posts deleted to make way for conversation regarding the tournament.  Prizes are a difficult thing to offer and we strongly discourage the use of them, and suggest awarding donations to a charity of the winner's choice to reduce hostilities if you absolutely must offer a prize.  However, as a potential participant, if you do not approve of the prize or rules, you are to move on to greener pastures and allow anyone interested in the format to participate in logistical conversation.

Thanks for removing the other posts. <3 We are using prizes as a way for more people to want to enter and help us get our YouTube Channel and Twitch.TV Channel more known/populated.

Ok, so we have decided that you may use as many builds as you want. But no switching in a duel.
Ex. He wins first match, you switch to another char for match 2. Is a no no.
You may only switch characters between opponents.

very nice rule, This is going end up very well. i hope also what will happen if a person just dropouts mid tourney would the guy he vsing just advance into next round

The turn out is pretty good so far, it'd be nice to round it off at 16 sign-ups.

Rules:
No modded builds, armor, weapons, spell-swaps and glitches
No Healing(Replenishment is allowed)
No Tranquil Walk of Peace
No BackStab Fishing
You may use as many characters as you want, but you may only use 1 character per opponent.

Replenishment is allowed to be used once per duel.

Is there any other rules than these ones I would like to know. Thx
