Glad to see you followed up on "PSN Event Calender" option!! It's good promo for the Wiki and Forum. The more we get listed there...the bigger "splash" we will make as a community!!

Only problem is... if we ad it one the PSN calendar how are people gonna get into teams? Just through psn contacts and stuff?

Only way they could fully participate is coming onto the forum, not sure how many people would do that...

Oh and I'm gonna try pressuring my mate into doing this, he's on xbox so hopefully he can bulk up the numbers- doesn't have DLC though (sad times) (he's a very average player though... then again so am I )

This is an interesting idea I'll think on it but I have a few questions. 1) we can't kill any npc's or just not the friendly ones like Solaire?
2) is there any other way people who don't have the dlc can yet time off because 4 hours for the dlc seems like a lot especially for some of the things you can get there which will make the time less for the run. and I mean beyond the tails because though don't really shave off any time imo.
3)is there an order in how we have to kill the bosses or can we just kill them whenever however?

1) ALL NPCs- even ones that have hollowed, or are evil- no exceptions

2) 4 hours is fair I feel. You'll need a lot of time to summon eachotehr into your worlds and the runs wont exactly be that fast- plus you'll be fighting bosses with suboptimal equipment. I feel 4 hours is a fair bonus

I did discuss other options for time off, but none i or wilk came up with were deemed acceptable. If you come up with any, please I'm welcome to suggestions

3) I wanna leave it mainly up to you, though I'm tempted to request the killing of all pre anor londo bosses first so that you can't just leave all the easy bosses till the end of your game when they're not a threat.

I have had players "from the wild" simply join the event and they identified themselves in "chatango" or I asked. Several then joined our Forum afterwards. They don't "have" to be Forum members to participate (at least in my event where teams are random)). But they are potential members.

Make a an Event Chatango chat room. Then encourage them to join Forum.

Besides...what do you have to lose. And it's good for the Wiki and Forum.

But what about my, wilk and tolvo's super awesome secret speed strategy?

Ok I have an idea what about if you get every spell/miracle/pyro and for each type you complete you get 45 or 30 min off?

Thats not feasible for Miracles due to covenant ties (and extra boss kill as gwyndolin isnt needed)

Spells you'd have to amass the money, kill logan etc- not really viable

Pyro you'd have to mess with the covenant stuff, and raise the humanity necessary to get chaos tempest, also buy all spells from quelana and upgrade pyro flame to +10 minimum- also not really viable..

Got any other suggestions?

Ive thought long and hard about the bonuses, And I figured we really don't need or want more bonuses, we don't want to turn this into a mini-game. The whole point of the bonuses is to help people get better at getting tails for hosts, and actually doing the bosses.

We don't want - 1 Hour bonus if learn how to jump the cliff in the forest!

I just thought it might be fitting for us to speedrun while also following the dress code of the covenant. I could easily grab the shadow garb and use a katana or something with a bow.

No problems for me to just use hybrids of light holy armour and medium armour.. and I start with a mace

We should also probably set it up, so when you take a picture of your toon with the finished time, you need to take your helmet off, so we can see if it was a megamule toon or not.

I don't know what the megamule toons look like though!

What if someone accidentally makes a similar toon Tolvo, should we just tell them to look it up? Or are they just completely absurd.

They'll have light blue skin, I actually have a toon with light blue skin people usually assume is a MM toon. You can just tell people, "Don't make toons that have light blue skin."
