As someone who's never seen Friendship is Witchcraft, I find this video entertaining. Not because I found him persuading in any way (my aversion to fandubs blocking any interest to begin with) but because I enjoy seeing people froth at the mouth in rage over stuff like this

Never heard of Friendship is Witchcraft, I might check it out in a bit. I still haven't been to MLPchan either.

So a bit ago I watched the Bronies documentary, this animation is used in it.  The one that was kickstarted for a little over 300,000 dollars.

I've got to say, it kind of made Bronies seem like losers.  Not that I think all are or anything, the documentary just seems to not convey itself well.  It talks about how bronies are normal people, then shows a chubby kid that lives with his parents always eating pasta, and dealing with his dad that just seems sad.  A lot of the bronies they interview and show are kind of weird, often living with their parents.  One sort of good instance is with a couple that are german, they're both fairly normal with a sort of cute story about how they met in real life and are now engaged, probably why they seem a bit more normal too is they're the only ones without MLP merchandise all around their rooms, they just watch the show.  If the documentary showed more of that it would probably have gone better, they also really didn't show off many female community members aside from voice actors.  John Delancie kind of came off as desperate attention above all else, seeming like he missed being recognized as Q from Star Trek TNG.  Tara Strong didn't seem comfortable and often looked bored or annoyed to be around the bronies with a very fake smile.  A lot of it seemed pretty awkward and uncomfortable with various people being shown depressed and using MLP to cheer themselves up, but never showing the "And then I also turned my life around and still enjoy MLP." part that they really should.  The editor also cut things at really awkward times giving pausing that made it seem like people weren't talking.  Again, many of the people they interviewed seemed quite abnormal, not to really bash on anyone but they probably should have found more normal looking members to interview.  They probably should have told people to look their best as well, many are just wearing fedoras, like there are a lot of fedoras seen on screen.  Not to mention at one point they follow around an autistic person on his way to a convention, and just fill roughly five minutes with him being lost walking around the city in this weird, boring, and awkward scene without any real purpose.

In short, it's not really good and doesn't really paint Bronies in a good light, almost making them seem like losers or creepy cultists.

Yeah, like I told you on Twitter I've still not seen it but after reading your synopsis here... I dunno. 

I honestly don't know why this Documentary was even made .
Bronies are nothing special, Otakus are the same thing and they exist for god knows how long yet i don't see any Documentaries about them .

Sure, liking a Kids show like this may be a little bit weirder than liking Anime, but come on .

Also, it's nice to see you posting here again, thought you lost hope that Bronies can be decent people  .
