Due to your use of the word "meme" instead of the normally-used "mean," I realize you may be aware already, but I feel like continuing my serious straight-guy bit for right now so I will explain.

He means that Panda is trying to troll.  It implies that they came into the thread and asked that question not with the intention of getting an answer, but with the intention of counteracting our responses in a way that would deliberately upset us.  The fishing is a metaphor, implying that the act of trolling is similar to fishing for negative reactions.  You cast the bait (ask the seemingly genuine and innocent question to lower peoples' suspicions of you and draw their attention), wait for a bite (a response to your question), then start trying to reel them in (counter-responding with something to make them defensive and upset).  You successfully catch the fish (the upset response from the normal poster) if you get them to post something that is obviously a display of rage or resentment.

His response to this accusation,

seems to indicate that this is the case.  Had he genuinely been asking instead of fishing for reactions, he would have left his response with his third post that clearly indicated that, despite our explanations, he simply still couldn't understand it.  Usually that's where these discussions end, as most people are willing to accept the simple fact that not every show works for every person and a mutual understanding is met.  With this quoted post, though, he clearly had no intention of stopping there and took a light-hearted jab and blew it out of proportion, as well as putting a poorly-disguised insult as a distraction, likely hoping that the disguise would simply be a tool of annoyance in an attempt to further aggravate the target.

This is also indicated in his further posts which do not address the issues at hand, but rather threw sarcastic remarks about that nature in which the counter-arguments to his posts were presented rather than argue against those counter-arguments directly.  These types of responses are typical when one does not want to attack an issue but rather the people involved in the discussion of an issue by implying their reasoning or opinions are flawed and keep them on the defensive by the attacker offering no opinions of their own with which the target might use to logically and or reasonably counter with.

TL;DR:  It was implied SadPanda is trying to troll.  Thus far, nothing has indicated that that is not the case.
