Thank you for taking the time to put this together.  Not only have you put time into orchestrating a tournament, but you've tried to even the playing field, and also offered a cash prize.

Hats off to you for your contribution to the community, and willpower to resist trolling the trolls.  Which leads me to...

I hope you don't think the few responses of negativity are a reflection of the entire community here.  There are some really great people here that would support you, but alas, most of them are MIA.  Some of us would have disagreed with a couple rules, but in a mature and civil way.  Likewise, some of us would disagree, but also acknowledge the reasoning behind some of your rules.  Buffs for instance.  Why not just make a divine weapon or lightning weapon?  It would hardly ruin a build, but make it not as effective none-the-less.  However I digress.

Thanks again for your effort, and I hope the negative elitist attitude you've been met with, does not affect your involvement in this community. 

You clearly state that this is meant to be entertaining, and it appears that some people do not understand the concept of a serious/but fun mix.  Again, please don't let that reflect upon the majority of this community.

I can understand the rules, but I still feel like this tournament is very limiting to miracles while leaving sorceries and pyromancies hardly affected. Also, in terms of equal field, the blighttown pit is a good area, being similar to Artoria's, but smaller.

Regardless of my complaints, I hardly care, so I'll see if I can join.

I don't have access to skype. I'll join in regardless of the rules. I'm all for reviving the community. I think some of the rules will make this less successful, not more, though.
