What's the Best Part of a Sandwich?

Beef on weck is best sandwich and has zero bacon.

A good BLT is hard to beat. I don't like iceberg though, a nice green leaf lettuce is more to my taste. Of course, bacon is King! Oh, and homegrown tomatoes (cherokee purples rule) make a world of difference. Don't forget Dukes mayo and a tiny amount of spicy brown mustard. Yummmm!

I always like when the bread steals the show. A place around me does a turkey, muenster, bacon on pumpernickel and all the flavor that melts into the bread makes it heaven. The taste of it makes me genuinely happy.

And for the record, topics like this are exemplary threads for offtopic and posting in general. It encourages discussion around a common thread and encourages members to share and learn about each other.

This one's a delicacy in ireland, the jumbo breakfast roll, nothing to it, french roll, 2 sausages, egg, 2 rashers(bacon), black and white pudding, hashbrown with brownsauce and the optional fried onions or mushrooms. Great hangover cure although you can feel your veins solidify as you eat.

Haha yum. And it further puts me at ease knowing us Americans aren't the only place creative with how we induce heart disease.

I must say that I've never even heard about most of the things you guys listed, with a few execptions. like bacon.
My lady is looking on some of the stuff baffled as well.
To quote her:

Exactly my thoughts as well.

The most badass sandwich I can get here, except for fast foods, like Subway, is your typical, bread, ham, lettuce, cheese.

Not a fan of bacon myself. Kill me! I like the bread the most and if the sandwich is toasted then I also love the cheese.

EDIT: To expand on crbngville2's statement, I live in a relatively low income area and I can still manage to get some pretty exotic things on the cheap at a grocery store so yeah, 'Murica is very lucky.  On these topics I tend to focus on local specialties since they're generally things local eateries take pride in (and know we won't buy crap versions of).  A good example is Buffalo Wings (to most of the world, we just call them wings.....any other variety needs a name like raspberry Buffalo or BBQ wings).  Anyway, go a few hours east toward Albany area and they can get away with ****ty wings because no one knows any better.

My lady is not my wife. Not yet at least. I would love to, but there are issues with doing so right now.
We're together for 6 years, so I don't think it's right to call her my girlfriend, especially since we live together and all, so I ended up reffering to her as "my lady".

My Lady is an awesome way to describe someone that you love and share a life with. Sorry, to assume that you were married.

Sandwiches are great.

Nothing beats the combination of mayo with the meat in there, it's just great.

Whnever the McRib comes out I buy 2 per trip. One to eat and one to freeze for the moment I sit in longing regret for the time McRibs are available.

Ok.  So I have some crushed bacon salt and pepper.  It pretty much heaven.  I made a sandwich for lunch.  It was a toasted english muffin with melted butter, habanero cheddar cheese, fried egg, ham, and of course this salt and pepper.  It was awesome.

Peanut butter jelly time!
