There was ill feelings behind them. Because i come in here to show some bands i listen to, in which metal, is involved, in the music i posted. It's not some pop main stream ****. It is a kind of metal.

Just for some dude to jump down my throat about it.

By saying "i knew that was gonna happen" i meant, "i bet someone is gonna say something" but i thought in the back of my head "maybe they'll just say yeah, nice bands dadada."

but it's whatever man. i was wrong. have fun.

Though in their Thrash days, this song is amazing:

Here is a chilling tune by American Metal band Burn The Priest. They aren't quite Death Metal (more like Gloomy Avante Grooverock), but they're pretty close.

This song is about how southerners feel they shouldn't be persecuted for enslaving black people.

To explain how I feel about Lamb of God, my favorite band ever is Dark Tranquillity. I own 0 of their albums, while I own 3 of Lamb of God's albums.

As the Palaces Burn, Ashes of the Wake, Sacrament.

I haven't listened to all of Resolution yet, actually.

Sacrament's probably my second favorite album, runner-up only to Ashes of the Wake:

I'm not sure which album is my favorite. Ashes of the Wake is certainly a contender. Wrath IMO is pretty amazing, too. They really refined their more groovish sound in it. By far their catchiest album.

Also, not naming any names, but I feel that Redneck does a good job of describing some of the Dark Souls uploaders/streamers.

What about Omerta? The opening is literally about how anyone who isn't honorable should die a painful death laughing

I just realized, since you called them Burn the Priest and not Lamb of God, I'm assuming you like their older stuff better?

I'm intrigued by some of the songs you guys have posted, seems to be a definitive enjoyment of Metal in this forum. Love it. Though the fact that no one has posted the classics is a bit odd.

You're saying the first Death Metal band isn't Death Metal? lol k

Although it's a toss-up between Death and Morbid Angel, Death is often known as the first Death Metal band. As Chuck Schuldiner is known as the father of Death Metal.
Let's just make one thing straight. Officially it's neither Death or Morbid Angel who were the first death metal band, but Possession.
Just check the info on them.

    And then back to basics.
