Brief interlude is up. Should have a longer chapter today too since I was able to play yesterday.

I was typing the chapter and the computer quit. Looks like tomorrow.....

I love your descriptions of the Dragon God fight. It was a fight that never stood out for me much because it didn't feel like a "fight," but I didn't hate it. It was just kind of like Bed of Chaos without any of the frustration or emotions behind it. It was just kinda "there." But as much as you've read into it, it puts things in a new light and makes me appreciate the atmosphere more. As the one thread is titled, "Demon's Souls, the game that keeps on giving" indeed

Glad to get feedback of any kind actually. I don't think I would have gotten more than a few chapters without a little encouragement. In related news, Chapter 10's title got me thinking and since, from the "edit post" option, it's just cut and paste....


I did paste the work so far into a Word document and was a little shocked. Especially since, apart from paragraph breaks it's all single spaced. Anyone care to guess? I would have been way off.

Though maybe you'd still need permission from FROM to do so. I dunno how that would work what with it might be taken as using their game for profit.

Old Hero is actually really fun -- and dangerous -- if you get him all riled up.  Not exactly news, but still a cool way for the player to control their own experience and handle that boss fight however you want to play it.  It's kinda like if super Ornstein had an off switch or narcolepsy.

Someone head over to the PC section and convince them of creating Narcoleptic Super Ornstein!

I had a crazy weekend. I started getting sick Friday. I went to a football game anyway that night. Saturday I had a graduation party that took a good chunk of the day and yesterday was sick and busy. I still managed to play some last night since sleep didn't seem like a great idea.

And up goes Chapter 12!
