Taurus an Capra demon, how did they get there?

The title pretty much explains the question.why an how is the Taurus demon on top of the bridge n the burg and why is Capra in a tiny room near the entrance to the depths. Not only that but how did it come across the key to the depths?

Wondered about this since I first ever killed ceaseless and went down near list izalith. That is obviously the place where Capra and Taurus demons reside so why those two lonesome ones in those locations?

All views on this welcome and greatly appreciated as I haven't a clue on this matter

I think they were wandering demons that took residence there.

The undead merchant does say.

"Things are getting treacherous in these parts.



A horrible goat demon has moved in below.



And up above, there's that humungous drake, and a bull demon, too.



If you stick around this place, it might end up being your grave!

At least it showed that Capra was not there before. Demons are the spawn of the bed of chaos, and they're probably just moving demons, settling in there.

The "Getting Treacherous" indicates that it is happening newly, so probably not long before the chosen undead began his/her journey.

Yeah I see, the undead merchant only ever said go jump of a cliff to me so I never got those other parts of dialog. What also makes me wonder is why we're they wandering? Perhaps something happened? The bounding demons of izalith pushed them out of their territory? It might explain why you never see any Capra or Taurus demons past the demon firesage, I've no evidence to back this up apart from speculation so if there was more to it then if somebody could tell me it would be most appreciated.

That is a very hard to answer question...

But I do just think they were the exceptions, wandering because they can.

Demon firesage is the first demon, so probably scared most of them off, I dunno really.

I think that people inhabited the areas where the demons are, and were warped by the Bed of Chaos.

I've always felt like they moved out due to their disgust at the actions of their brethren.  Taurus Demon makes a huge show of coming at you one on one, the archers are easily dispatched and he'll even give you the chance to take them out beforehand.  His fellows in Demon Ruins have no qualms about unfair fights though and will rush you the second they see you.

In Capra Demon's case, he comes at you with friends literally right out of the gate.  His kin fight you one on one unless you start attacking the one not facing you.

Taurus Demon wanted fair duels, Capra Demon wanted to gank people.  Their fellows didn't agree, so they packed up and left.

interesting very much so. Makes you realise that they are more than just demons and that they actually have morals. All of these different perspectives just paint an even larger picture, the only problem i have with your interpretation is the choice of location. You did explain it but there are so many other places they could have gone to rather than there. However i think im being too picky and unfair so ignore that little section of text

Well, the bonfire warped and when I came out
There was a dude who looked like an undead standing there with my name out
I ain't trying to get killed yet
I just got here
I sprang with the quickness like lightning, disappeared

I whistled for a wagon and when it came near
The driver said get gud and it had giantdad in the back
If anything I could say that this wagon was rare
But I thought 'Nah, forget it' - 'Yo, thief to Undead Burg!'

I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo thief smell ya later'
I looked at my boss room
I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the Capra of Undead Burg

@OP - it's already been said, but basically they moved in. Why out of Demon Ruins... well.... that's something they have been trying to do since their beginning.

Asylum demon and Stray were most likely guards of the asylum put there by... The Crow.

Not stylish enough to hang with the rest of the cool kids in the Demon's Ruins.

Needs more fire, that's why Firesage could stay.

They're most likely roamers that simply found another way into the burg areas though, who knows maybe taurus demons are good rock climbers and capra demons are good at interior design?

They did not know what they were, or perhaps they thought they were titanite demons and should wander around?

They thought they were undeads?

I dunno, Demons have a tendency to lack a brain.

Since they were born from a burning tree.

With arms.

That have scythes on their ends
