You can get them off of the living trees in the Forest, or buy them from the female undead merchant near the depths.

By bumping Str up to 24 you'll be able to use a lot more weapons, 16 dex looks good for now as does your Endurance and vitality. By the way what is your current SL?

Hmm, slightly high for the area, but you should definitely be able to get some Co-Op with Q if you need help. One phantom is enough, in fact the NPC Mildred is just perfect. The best thing is to have Q constantly turning and not facing you, don't forget to flask to heal player phantoms if you do Co-Op her, NPC phantoms cannot be healer. Also if you see her looking like she is compacting her body, run like hell. Big magic explosion will come right after.

I reckon I'm high because when I got stuck on the moonlight butterfly I farmed like 10 levels on the undead silly

I've not seen Mildred around and I'm afraid to use my Humanity in case I get I end up dying without even getting to Q, the boulder guys make me use at least 1 flask :/

Mildred should invade right outside of the bonfire at the bottom of blight town if you're human.

Once you take her out you can summon her outside of Quelaags fog door.

She's good for pulling aggro, not much else.

Are you on XBL? If so I could help

Pulling aggro makes the fight a lot easier if you ask me. Maybe you should go in against Q a few times while Hollow to see the fight and what she brings to the table before become human?

My worry is just of a player invader if he waits around to summon phantoms, he should probably be able to pull it off and maybe even use their help to kill Mildred. It is too bad I'm not on the Box, I would be glad to help you out. You could always try posting a request thread in the Help Section, I know the Sunbros do rounds there, provided you don't seem to be doing anything fishy like SL1 Gwyn, usually you get some quick responses. Just list important information like,
    SL,
    Live Name,
    Number of Humanity for Tries,
    Times you are normally on.

Sorry but it is better if I don't explain, you'll probably figure it out later on as you play the game more but I just like to make sure. As well you never know who is reading threads, etc.

Back on the topic of helping out, it is a good idea to kite Q along the area, since she sprays lava that stays for a time. You don't want to get stuck surrounded by the stuff, so you should often drag her about. Also when she swings her sword if you hug her tightly and strafe to your left it will miss you. Might take a few tries to get right but you can pretty much hit her with a thrusting weapon with your shield up while strafing in between her strikes. I'd advise just strafing to dodge though and not try anything fancy on your first run.

Well there is the left strafe I mentioned, if you are trying to roll and aren't fast rolling I'd suggest backing up away from her. Be careful on her final attack in that combo because it is a long reaching thrust, that one should be dodged to the left or right.

Upgraded my Claymore to +6 then raw, I thought it would've been +7, have I done something wrong?

Raw weapons do not use Stat Scaling, so overall they will deal less damage. You can revert your weapon back underneath the modification tab at a blacksmith, it will be the furthest right option.

Also after you modify your claymore to +6 you will use the reinforcement option to go to +10

So gonna try to upgrade all my armour/shields/weapon before I progress so I'm gonna need to somehow find a lot of Large titanite Shards. Anyone know anywhere relatively easy to farm? Preferably somewhere that doesn't cause curse since I haven't been anywhere that can reverse it happy

At your level, hmm. The Leeches in the Swamp drop them, and Green titanite Shards. That is a pretty good farming spot right there.
