PS3 Power Rankings

We have created a Dark Souls PS3 PvP Power Rankings board. If you are looking to prove yourself, determine how well you can PvP, Gain recognition from your peers in the community, fight the toughest players, or just want to have some competitive fun...then I suggest you may look into participating in the Power Rankings. The best PS3 dks players from twitch, youtube, wiki, reddit, etc will all be given the opportunity to showcase his/her skills in the no holds bar Power Rankings Showcase. I look forward to seeing which of you actually try to compete. This will be competitive and this will measure your true skills. This will be an ongoing event until the release of Dark Souls 2. Timezones shouldn't matter too much because you have a period of time to have your match up. So the two combatants will coordinate with the moderator(s) a good time to have their matchup. Also if any of you are interested please send me or one of the moderators a msg using the "Way to Contact" method mentioned in the link. If you send me a msg on here that's fine, A Personal Message. Also please include if you want to join Tournament or if you are trying to setup a match after the tournament in the Power Rankings matches. Thank you.

Unfortunately it's Ps3, so I can't participate.  I'm not an elite tier PvP guy anyway, just above average, but playing in these settings is a great way to improve and I'd have joined up if it were xbox.

Honestly, this reminds me of a Calladoody leaderboard. Dark Souls isn't a game where score matters. And a "power ranking" is just a K/D ratio in disguise.

Well people like looking at leader boards and having competition. So let those interested have their fun

Yeah.  Personally I don't consider the game to be designed towards competitive play, but some people do.  And I don't think I have a master's degree in Game Design so I can't really tell them they're wrong.  Let people have their fun, it's not like they're posting the rankings saying "I'm the best Dark Souls player!"  Just testing their mettle against each other and it sounds like having fun.
