So is there a reason why there isn't any Pyromancy in Dark Souls 2?

I may be late to this =P
So is there a "Lore" Reason or it's just Pyromancy is simply not in the game anymore?
Or is it that we won't be seeing Pyromancy until the game is released? Sorry if I sound dumb asking =P I can see someone just saying "It's just not in the game anymore IDIOT"

I thought there was pyromancy in DkSII, but it was merged with sorceries. Like, you need points in intelligence to use it now.

But if it's not in DSII, well...... ;_;

Yeah, I would totally be heart-broken if DkSII didn't have some form of pyromancy.  My RP! Nuuu Q_Q

But I'm really loving the direction magic is taking, so I don't mind the intelligence requirement so much.

Yea, I mean I don't really mind as much. We'll miss Pyromancy not needing any Stats to boost it =P only Dex with Casting Speed. I even made a Pyro + Dex + Uchigatana Build and it works awesome and kinda fun in PvP.

But hey, Attunement for Cast Speed and Magic Slots
and INT for my Fire Spells and I guess the Magic Spells would be a bonus to have =P
and I wouldn't have to worry much about rolling speeds
