I heard Jane Lynch is pretty good, frosty reception though.

So I finally decided to go back to Blighttown and...I completely owned it, defeated Quelaag on my first try (seriously easy boss...) and I was making way out, when suddenly, I got stuck. I tried rolling, jumping, everything, but I could not move, I was an idiot and I had no more Homeward Bone's left, so I sadly had to use the item which returns you to the bonfire at the cost of all your souls and humanity (can't think of the name since I never use it).

Lesson learned: Be nice to all areas and don't talk behind their backs. Also, always carry around Homeward Bones...

btown's fine, i power through in 10 min or so. I hate the depths, not due to design, due to the [graphic explative] curse frogs. I despise those creatures.

Oh Blighttown!

Who doesn't love when gameplay slows down!

How about this:

The glitching has begun....you're moving in slow motion. You've just picked up an item but don't have enough time to press the X button to say "ok" so the screen doesn't get so crowded before a swarm of swamp flies descends upon you. You try to hit them but miss in slow motion. They hit you again and again as you're trying to back up and take a hit of Estus, and in the midst of the glitch a dead cragspider merges with your character's legs so you can't see properly. You try to lock onto the flies b/c you're sick of them and want to kill them but the camera spins all around and gets trapped behind a piece of wood so you can't see yourself fall to your death.

Problems (besides the fact that I complain too much)

-The flies are just too difficult and annoying for this level. They're on par with those stupid bonewheel skeletons.

-You really shouldn't have to press the x button to acknowledge that you've picked up an item. The prompt should just go away after a few seconds. It crowds up the screen and you can't see through it.

-The frame-rate issues are terrible on this level. You should die in a game b/c the game is hard, not b/c the design is bad.

-You shouldn't die b/c the enemy you've locked onto falls after you hit it and your character spins around or falls with the enemy.

-If you're going to have to maneuver tight areas with precision, then the controls should be precise. They're not in Blighttown.

In the end, if you don't need anything from the Depths entrance up to the first bonfire, you might as well just go in the back way, kill Quelaag and get on with your life.

I thought they fixed the lag? Ihavent had that problem since...the first time i went though right after the game came out.

It just happened to me about an hour ago so I guess it's not fixed.

Great Hollow is my least favorite place in the game
In fact I hate it. I have to go back for my slab and I'm not looking forward to it.
