Well it didnt even change my rep! I was 77 before and Im still 77. I wouldnt even had noticed if I hadnt seen it as a scrolled down. And its even worse since I was going so well. 0 neg reps at 100 was the goal.

I wouldn't sweat it too bad. The real rep is how people respond to you. Still a little lane though.

Thanking is only on topics you create, it's essentially the button you press that thanks the most useful post to you, it's found next to the quote button. It also gives the recipient a hefty +3 rep

You can only thank a post in a thread created. You click the thnk button next to the quote button. You can only do it once per thread and its worth like 3 +1s roughly (from what Ive seen).
