haha That's Acidic's and Fearandwhiskey's secret. (BTW Whiskey is a nice looking gal ) I don't know how they did it but if I guess correctly at the time they were at a higher sl than most so the curse would have fewer places to go.

Me and my companion did a good amount of work (and thank you, she is a good looking gal ). We went up from the very start of our character build, having our beginner characters kill Pinwheel as our first boss, while being a gravelord as well. We grew to about SL 150, and we gravelord each other again and again, by staying the same soul level. We did it with patience and calulation, and the way of infecting each other was not hard, once we connected together at least once before. Once we did, we summoned each other in our infected worlds as white phantoms, and together wen't threw NG, NG+, and NG++ gravelorded areas. NG+++, we settled down and took a break, now gravelording as low levels in popular areas of low levels.

, we had the best time. i have killed over two dozen blues in the depths, and many reds. of course,t heir is the odd red phantom with the lightning halberd, or the blue that had BB glitched for inventory... however, it has been fun bringing some misery and support to our home. She likes to farm in the depths, any ways.

Well, it was fun. Just remember ONE thing: Don't both try to sue the ey at once. Cause, you know, summoning a persona s a gravelord won't help. One is infected, and the infected summons the gravelord VIA white sign.

OR, you can take the cheap route: When a world is infected, and a gravelord that infects quits and reloads, that world stays infected. Similar to how a world stays infected when a gravelord has been summoned VIA white sign (or any other sign or orb). Therefore, without the risk of trying to summon someone and one of you two being invaded, and you can cooperate and see each other's worlds... with two to four other people potentially still infected

By the way... when you do this, their are odd times when invaders seem to be the cause of removing black phantoms... it is random as of why. It also has a set timer of sorts, but sometimes it is short, and sometimes it is VERY long. When invaded by a Darkwraith, their is a chance that the darkwraith may remove the black phantoms... when the gravelord is no longer smoky with the use of an eye, any ways.

Don't know why. Sometimes they stay when a Darkwraith comes, and sometimes they are removed once one comes to the world. May be due to the connecting process of a darkwraith to another world, an the lack of a gravelord to maintain it. Still, it should be stationed well nonetheless. Should work well if you do it right.

Just make sure that you and your comrade are properly connected... otherwise it will not work.

You get no reward for people who die due to your infections. You only get souls for killing SoVs and DWs who invade you.

It's a shame that we don't get souls if someone dies to our Black Phantoms but luckily we get Eyes of Death as rewards for killing invading spirits of vengeance.

Luckily the naked run to Nito is super easy and takes a total of 2 minutes from firelink

Hello everyone.
Are we certain that the level range of invasion/infection is indeed just like coop-play? Twice I've been invaded by people who most certainly weren't within my range. At this moment I am SL 13 GLing in undead burg and I've been invaded by a covenanter of the dragon and a man wielding Queelag's furysword.
Unless they haven't used any souls for leveling up, which I personally find it unlikely (not impossible), I think perhaps the top level range is equal to those of other covenants, i.e., any level?

Were they red phantoms? If not, gravelording at the burg is like asking for the ganker fest. These people will probably not even past level 10, with the best gear they can wield to hurt other players.

Undead Burg is a PvP fest. I suggest you try somewhere that is a little bit more friendly. Undead Burg is not the friendliest place to find any players who are actually armed with equipment that the standard low level would be armed with. Just saying.

They were blue phantoms yes, but how do they manage to-- Oh hell don't tell me they get a mule to give them the best stuff this early on in the game?!

They don;t need to level to progress threw the game. Their are a good amount of loopholes to get the equipment needed.

And yes, people are lazy; Some might have actually BB Glitched, some got them by going threw the hardships of the game, just to combat others in undead Burg.

Just follow the Gravelord Guide. It will help ya well.

And the Undead Parish may work. Although, areas such as Blighttown, Depths, Sens, and other areas may not have as much in terms of BB Glitchers. new Londo may work as well.

It disgusts me that people do this. Where is the fun in winning because of superior gear? Nothing is more pathetic than a BB glitching griefer.:evil: I enjoy being gravelorded and relish the chance to have a challenging pve and pvp experience in one bundle. People who choose to do the aforementioned glitching and griefing typically also use every other cheap tactic possible and overall ruin the Dark Souls expeience for you gravelords and everyone else.

Generally the Parish is a better place to GL then the Burg. The Burg is a **** hole as you've found out. I would level up a bit and GL the first part of the forest, infection spreads to the hunters area as well, or go GL lower burg/depths.

yeah i really like the forest bonfire aswell , for a few reasons but also because of the nice stable framerate there, lol , its just a nice place to pvp. Warm and charming but still dark and shady.

I also really love to pvp in the catacombs,

but the burg and parish , I only go there as a SL120 GraveSworn , never again as a SL20
