Embers look like...

Would i be right in assuming the embers each have a link to a covenant? The way their en-casings are painted looks very specific. They also have an ornate "brazier" look to them.

The dark ember most notably look like nito. And the crystal like seath. Chaos like the bed of, etc etc.

So im thinking that the Embers each represent a covenant or at least a major player in lordran. The design of the embers is quite clearly matchable but what im interested in, is whether you guys think they look like ornate urns?

Braziers including lord vessel have the same number as the embers. Anyone agree?

I'm pretty sure they're associated with in game lore. I'm not sure they all have a clean and consistent theme. For instance, the large and very large seem like they're just part of the blacksmithing lore although I could easily be wrong. Good point though, the chaos ember for one seems consistent with chaos lore in the game. I always thought that they were like the Olympic torch, carrying a small part of a special fire to be transported to a place in which they can be used.

The thing is Seath created the crystal one so its likely not associated with the braziers making there 9 embers and 9 braziers. The chaos one was created by the bed of chaos. The dark and large flame ember were used in ancient rituals and may be connected to Nito's power.

And theres 9 braziers and 1 lord vessel?

Keeping all the embers does nothing right? but what about only using the ember associated with your class, lets say for starts, Gravelord servant, Dark ember etc?

Forsaking all the others is a big challenge and their temptation could be a ploy.

cant use dark without divine. Maybe try using them in front of the braziers?

This is true, although if you find yourself an occult weapon you can just upgrade with that ember right?

There could be more to them I always wonder why you have a choise to give an ember if it's only purpose is giving to a blacksmith
And only the right blacksmith will accept the right ember so you cant give it to the wrong smith

More embers than covenants. . . What does that mean?

Well im thinking there aren't. Allot of the embers are ascensions of other smaller ones. Meaning some covenants get to have two embers or so. It would make sense for balancing the classes.

Without lesser embers there are less embers than covenants.

10 embers ten braziers 9 covenants and the option to go aetheist. Also 10 starting classes one of which is nuddy and deprived. So we can say Nuddy deprived no covenant and which ember? The dark ember, making you the pygmy lol

Also the aesthetics of them are interesting. The dark ember has no flame...

Also Kill the fire keepers and Gwyns Family, then salt the earth of Lordran so nothing will ever grow there again.

Thats how I'd do it. Maybe you shouls also kill the Blacksmiths as they use the powers of the embers.

The Enchanted ember is from Oolacile, so I don't know which boss that'd correspond with.

I've thought the thing about the Braziers as well, though I don't know if I successfully tested it. Pretty sure there have been playthroughs where I didn't give anyone an ember, but in the end I don't remember 100%.

Hmmmm im so intrigued by all this. The stairs lead to an abyss. Anyone got the balls to try leaping into it with different combos. For example the white seance.
