Elite cleric armour

User was banned for creating an account to sell in game items. We will not be reaching out for info. Assume these are ill gotten goods via hacking. If user is able to sell multiples, this was likely a hack off Petrus and subsequently duplicated via hacking. Giftwraith story seems dubious.

Like befowler said too, that health bar seems like a big red flag. Now to push him off a cliff.....

Soon enough we'll all be able to wear it freely anyway. I'm sure I'm not the only one whose read that the new edition is going to be accompanied by most NPC armors/equips, and when we eventually get it as a DLC we wont have to sweat Dbags who try to sell us in game items for real money

On a high-level character, the ring of favor and protection would make the health bar look as his does - very long. In the video you can clearly see that he is using that ring. Thus, his health bar is not supportive evidence for him acquiring the elite cleric set by hacking, modding, or cheating.

It is my hope that there is a legitimate way to obtain this armor set without it being a drop from a phantom.

Looks a lot like an infinite life bar to me. I agree that what he doesn't show, either by cropping out or by his movement in holding the camera away from his tv for a moment, is awfully convenient

I don't know what an infinite health bar would look like from the point of view of a hacker, but I imagine it wouldn't be different from a Vit gouged life bar. At a certain point, your health just goes beyond the bar, but the bar doesn't get any longer. I just don't think his health bar is indication he's a hacker. I don't disagree that the most likely way he obtained the armor was either by hacking himself, or by receiving it from a hacker, though.

But I'm still hoping it's accessible by legit means, somehow... It just seems odd to me that From would plan to have it as a covenant reward item, cut the covenant, not place the armor in the game somewhere, and still have it on the disc.

I tell u something the idea of having to encounter from software employees to get secret stuff is a pretty awesome one. And quite common in allot of games.

I remember on the old NES game genie there was a game (based on Greek Mythology, don't remember the name) where you could hack your health and it would make the visual bar bigger in addition to the numerical increase. It looks similar to me but I'm basing it off of my bar which is in the 1500 range. I could be convinced it's a legit bar but would need to see a sample of max life.

Yes, I have a vit build with Rofap, MoM, even tiny being's sometimes and the bar doesn't look like that. Max normal hp is 2753, and the bar cuts off well before that so the first few times you get hit it looks like you're not even taking damage. But this is on PSN, so maybe the display on Xbox is slightly different or something. Anyway, larger point is that we still don't have the item descs and I'm not sure we ever will. Masterful trolling, if that's what it is.

On the plus side, here's a tip for those of you thinking about cleric armor (which I love): a female character with very slim build actually looks good in the cleric chest armor. The armor also covers the legs in a way that you can wear a hollow soldier waist +10 for the poise and not look stupid. I roll with regular knight helm, cleric chest, havel's gauntlets, and hollow soldier waist and it looks awesome.

I agree that the Cleric armor looks pretty good, though. I also wore it on my slim female, and it looks almost samurai-ish.

No doubt, but I'm a trust but verify guy. Seeing it on the actual items would be cool -- if only to confirm those are really the elite set.

Item descriptions are the same as ublug had. But I was able to get the armor's stats from the video. I'll add them to the wiki, along with a link to the video and a note that the manner in which the armor is obtained is still unknown at the moment.

Hey one of my female toons wears the waistcloth, havel gauntlets, armor of glorious and Big hat... She is freakishly pretty btw...

Man, that armor is awesome, even has better poise (I tweaked the new wiki page as I think the poise total is 60, not 50). I was hoping they'd nerfed it like they did my elite knight armor, if only to make me less jealous of not having it. Alas.

He said in the 2nd part that he got giftwraithed it, so if he got banned for having the armour, I feel bad for him.

He was banned for trying to sell it for $$$, not for how he claimed he got it.

And speaking of which, I don't play DkS on XBL but presumably there's a way for him to reach out to whoever invaded him and dropped it, to see how they obtained it.
