Ah, ok. Yeah, STR builds in duels are uncommon. Most STR weapons are really slow and easy to punish, after all.

large club is pretty awesome, a lilttle weaker an shorter than the great club but it has a better move set, specially the 1h r2.

My favorite weapon is Black Knight sword followed by the Black Knight Halberd. The have high damage and excellent range and I can perform well with it's slow speed. Just ask the Gankers I wiped out yesterday. The only down side is that they require high strength to wield.

you mean the downside is that they require high dex to wield? those weapons should have a requirement of 10 dex at the most. all my builds have 8 dex, but my fave weapons only require str though.

Give a Zweihander or a Club(-like thingy) to a mediocre player and he becomes somewhat dangerous. Give one to a pro and the heaven rains fire.
I'm one of the greatest fans of the Chaos Blade too, but I also love Zweihander and Grant, a lot.
Zweihander looks like the ultimate Paladin weapon to me.

Heavy Crossbow, manserpent greatsword, Demon's Great Hammer, Crystal Greatsword, Server, and the Gravelord Sword comes to mind...
Of all of them, my heart invokes towards my Hammer... so precious... seeing it basked in Sunlight shows the power it truly holds, especially when enemies spines break by my sheer strength and prowess.

I also rather like the Light Crossbow. That thing can throw people so off by swapping your shield and pressing fire, less then 0.2 second delay.

heavy crossbow has a similar time of firing as light. The difference, is that it requires some more strength to carry it, and its base damage is greater. It is good. Try it out, the firing speed is good. Even the reloading mechanic is of similar if not the same speed as a light crossbow.

Der Zwei-hander for sure. I have Lightning, Fire and +15 Zwei for buffs. Close second is my Claymores, Chaos or Divine.
The Zwei was one of the first weapons I picked up in my original playthrough, doing a suicide run in the graveyard to get it. The Zwei-hander has come through for me so many times, whether is a dead angle no lock swing or a quick backstab. It can be deceivingly slow to the point where one might think a missed swing is a chance for backstab only to be dead angle hit on the other end of the gigantic swing. I also will sometimes throw out a couple initial big swings to bait my opponent into thinking it's my attack pattern, only to switch to a quick strafe to backstab.
In fact I like the Zwei so much I bought one to add to my sword collection. It's Cold Steel" Zwei-hander and even though a bit short around 5 feet, it is a solid piece and relatively cheap.

- Rare - not obtained readily (rare drop only), nor used by many players.
- Massive damage - Its hard to find a weapon that causes more damage than a +15 Large Club (A-scale for strength) on character with at least 40 strength buffed with cmw, dmb, or sb. Add the hornet ring for bacstab and riposte one-hit kills on most players (over 2000 damage usually). Demon's Greataxe might be the only weapon that does more damage, but the large club has much lower requirements.
- Low requirements- it is the featherweight of the great hammers (11.0). This allows you to use better armor: more poise and defense. Also has the lowest strength requirement of the great hammers to use one-handed (26). You need 46 strength to one-hand the Demon's Greataxe that has a 22.0 weight.
- Added bonuses: nice moveset (rolling 2-haded r1 is popular for great hammer users), but better moveset than other great hammer counterparts (eg. one-handed R2). Even though it doesn't come into play, it has poison effect.
Note: very slow at times for pvp, but in the hands of an opportune pvp player, slow weapons can wreck in pvp.
