That would force me to train to become more efficient, and actions such as flying or destroying a train by blinking at it would take a severe toll on my energy.

I'm going to go with 'I'd like the powers of a Kryptonian' as I'm a DC fanboi. Not a proper one, I'm one of those wierd 'not a proper comic book geek' people who looks stuff up on wiki's rather than reading any actual comics.
If I had to pick a hero to be, it would be Superman. Mock me all you like, but Supes is a rather misunderstood hero really. Everyone goes 'omg, he gets owned by rocks and he's tooo powerfulz /boyscout LOLOLOL!' but most of that is just a misconception. He's the 'light to show the way'.
If I had to pick a marvel character, I think it might have to be Iron Man. Not just because I'm equally as charismatic as Rob Downey Jr, but also because I love cars/anything to do with awesome mechanical engineering, and that suit just cool in the movies.
