Demons Souls Refrences in Dark Souls?

I was just wondering what "references" to Demons Souls are actually made in Dark Souls. I know of 1 or 2 but I was just wondering if there were any that I missed

i don't know really i only know of patches and thats pretty much it

the undead merchant..maybe, maneater mildred sort of showed up in demons... lautrec=yurt the silent cheif, shiva=satsuki, Hellkite dragon... just like in boletaria... siegmeire is biorr's counterpart...

If you follow Demon's Souls lore, the sixth archstone which was broken lead to the land of the giants.... Lordran?

if so would the events of dark souls take place before or after the events of demons souls?

There's no way to know that I know of. For all we know they could have occurred in tandem. You never visit the land of the Giants in DS, and you never learn anything about the archstone and how it was broken.

hmm arch stone broken during the battle at the beggining of the age of fire? and should this thread be moved to the archives or whatever the lore section is?

I don't remember tarkus or a similar character in DS. You could compare Biorr to Seigmeyer possibly.

Nevermind about the sixth archstone. The wiki states: The land of the giants was the fist overcome by the fog. Boleteria's finest were sent to reclaim the land from the demons but failed. The archstone was broken in an attempt to save the rest of the kingdom from the fog. It faied.

Paladin Leroy is something of a Garl Vinland type. Both were holy knights set out on a quest, wore incredibly stylized armor, wielded a massive mace (which they both have similar names). The major difference being the circumstances in which the player comes to fight them

When you hit the Crestfallen Warrior, he says the same thing as Yurt, in equally scary voicing: "Well, what do we have here?". I always crack up at that, dont know why.

The Bridge Wyverns are kindof references to each other.

lol paladin leeroy is just a mockery of the famous dude from world of warcraft XD

also, theres a lot similar between the two, and iv barely played demons

I do too. But we can't have dark souls being anything but silent and depressing outside of boss fights now can we?

brass maiden is similar to garl's sister isn't she? and astraea is similar to rhea but is a boss...

Could the sixth archstone perhaps be Oolacile?

What does Oolacile have to do with giants? It was my understanding that it was sort of like Vinhiem, only ancient and dead.
