Weight/Poise

Hey, just a question. I've playing with a fast roll armor setup using Havel's ring, no DWGR. I've been trying to find decent weight to poise ratios and wanted to know if anyone out there has any suggestions. My sword is 10lbs., so that's a considerable chunk of weight and I've been rocking Knight's chest/hollow soldier waistcloth. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The Eastern Set is a fairly good option. Lighter weight, good poise, fairly nice defense especially against eastern weapons. Though the gloves have terrible defense, the Shadow Gloves have more, hell Logan's do. So the Gloves I might forget about. But the rest of the set is pretty nice.

catarina armor, solaire's armor, hollow warrior armor, reg knight chest piece, gargoyle helm, helm of vamos are some of the best weight/ poise armors in the game, im sure there's others but i cant think of them right now.

Sorry about that billy, it's a Str/Fai build. So Vit40, End40, Str36, Fai40 or some such close variation.

Eastern set I've toyed with and the chest is pretty good.

if you mix and match the eastern with catirna and armour of thorns you can get decent poise for a relativly low weight

is this gonna be a an sl 120 build? just asking, if it is we should duel, its always nice to duel str builds since theyre rare.

Yeah, 120 is the goal. We will duel indeed. I have a plethora of new toys: MSGS, DGM, Golem Axe, Great Axe, Large Club. They're so awesome and punishable....

is this a pure str build btw? check out my pure str build and see what you think? end is youre best friend with those huge weapons, i have 65 end on mine because that damnDGH is so damn heavy but the cool factor is through the roof!

Unfortunately, it's a Str/Fai, so I don't know if I could hang against your Str build, maybe with the Grant. But that excess End is definitely a good choice.

that sword can stunlock anything its beautiful!, well eitha way ive got new builds now there all fun i have a pure str build similar to Rants, i have a spartan build which is soo much fun, and my sephiroth cosplay, take your pick of them 3 and we can have a jolly good time

i enjoy my leeroy build the most out of all of them, he can 1h all str weapons except smough's hammer. we can have a grant vs grant fight, i always enjoy fighting a fellow grant user.
