Hunting season! (summer forest pvp event)

Today's the last day to prep. Get a few practice runs in, then take a breather. We want you at your best tonight!

We should make this a summer long event! and btw I have been practicing - just kidding, though i am tempted to learn the non lethal Basin Jump

Summer long event sounds fun, however not everyone has the time for it and it seemed like we would get more of a turnout if we set a specific day.

You know treent cliff? where they're all hanging around the eastern set's corpse? If you hug the stone wall and walk off the cliff you'll survive if you have enough health.

Yep, we all show up and invade the forest and the idea is the concentration in people results in us meeting up and evened odds

Last night I was doing some prowling with my Black Phantom Forest Hunter Theif man was I having fun.

It was a bit thin so we will see if it picks up today.

Well people we have a few hours til jump-off.My FH toon has been on R&R the last few days (other than farming of course) so he is rested and ready to rock!! I have been working on my GL toon so I've still been busy. My GL is going to be forest cursing monster once I get him fully powered up.

I plan on being in the first echelon of the invasion immediately after the strike of midnight (US EST timezone) so hopefully I will see some of y'all in there already taking it to 'em. Remember - fight hard and if you have to die take some of them with you.

@Dan I am getting a Skype account right now so I will be up an running in regards to communications. I will send you my Skype info so you can add to the top post of the Hunting season thread if you have time.

I have time broke was planning on grabbing a quick 5 hours but I need to practice with my BSS (and somehow farm a slab or 3 Lulz) so I shall add you when you put it on there... which reminds me to get on skype and add everyone !

I have been annihilating with the Citrus Greataxe!!! Parrying with bare fist also xD I have had over 60 parries tonight

Grats! parries are such a big deal for me... So unusual sadly :/
oh well Citrus BSS wrecks havel tanks. turtles and my top 10 favorite weapons list.

Greataxe with Citrus and HR OHKO's the gankers with a BS xD If I see a 1v3 I quickly equip it. when RTSr is up my normal hits do like 1300 damage on full giants xD

Nice! 500 here but SO MANY HITS SO QUICK 2 counters per stagger (a coward host decided to turtle after his phantom died)

and pendant if you think a while the event is happening thread would be good then lets go for it

Oh - with a counter attack the GA normally OHKO's when RTSr is up xD

Just so that people can post up-to-the-minute happenings if they feel so inclined without muddying up this, more formal, thread.

Roger that - I'm adding people as I type this. Man - a nice dreary trip to New Londo.My favorite tactic for those Darkwraiths is a combo of Hide spell and RoF - they never know what hit 'em.

Oh wow Amos I have been so busy with my new Darkstalker builds I forgot the forest event was this weekend

Glad I saw your post about someone else missing this Amos...I will be using my 120's and will be invading the forest hard RED...so to all on PS3 when you see Glatts17 has invaded RED please know that I am the friendly forest wraith!

I will likely use my new 120 dex hybrid that I just put together...he has a decent buff and I have been doing well with him so far....if not ill pull out good old 'Almost Rants Leeroy' and I will definitely put some campers on the ground!!
