Also, Andre is pretty close to the Wood as well, and some believe he was the God of War. If Havel was one of Gwyn's generals, chances are he would have met the firstborn. Have we considered that Andre is the "dear friend" who locked Havel away?

Re: You know Havel right?
Wilkinson, From has stated that they did not initially have plans to release DLC. If the pendant IS involved in the DLC, that is not it's original use, just something that they threw in to stop the constant begging emails they get (I assume).

Does andre know the divine blacsmith? Because the key would have to be linked to andre, and he only says hes heard of a divine blacksmtih, not that he knows him.

Re: You know Havel right?
Well, since Havel had to be locked in by a dear friend for "his own good, of course" and since people can be turned undead, Seath may have turned him undead when he was on his way to Oolacile, then a friend, who also is a follower of Seath, locked him in because of Seath's orders. Who's Havel's friend AND a follower of Seath? *shrug*

Pygmy is the collective souls of humanity in one.
The prolouge shows many (undead?) shadowy figures rising from the Fire. It wasn't until one particular one rose that the Pygmy was mentioned. I theorize that the Pygmy is not just one individual, but that's my theory.

Re: You know Havel right?
The pygmy is a woman. Look at her in the intro really carefully.
PS: A lot of people theorize that the Keeper of the First Flame was Velka. Idk. There's crazy speculation out there. I need to talk to Acidic or I'll never be able to write the script to my 2nd lore video: The First Flame and the Start to the Age of Fire.

If you look at it over and over, as soon as you see it, you can't NOT see it.

Re: You know Havel right?
I always got the feeling that shadow of the being with the dark flame looked female, but I thought it was just me. Still I wouldn't read into it much personally. She didn't have crazy curves but in the video it really looked effeminate at the least.
Does that mean the pygmy is a girl? Not really, or it could, but I don't think there is a single pygmy anymore.

Re: You know Havel right?
'anymore' was the keyword in that sentence. ;P
I thought you were implying she had to be female now as well.

Re: You know Havel right?
I don't understand this. But I guess you mean that in the whole sentence Kaathe said, "anymore" was important? I don't know.Yukon wrote:'anymore' was the keyword in that sentence. ;P
I thought you were implying she had to be female now as well.
And I did. Then you said that the Pygmy was more than one person. I just kinda replied to that...
PS: I find it hard to sound serious with this avatar.. What's up with that?

I find it hard to take you serious with it as well, I'm sure its just a passing phase haha.
I said above in my post:
Does that mean the pygmy is a girl? Not really, or it could, but I don't think there is a single pygmy anymore.
and the anymore was a keypoint to that sentence, not what kaathe said.

Re: You know Havel right?
The Pygmy was the fourth Lord who found the fourth soul, the Dark Soul. She is the ancestor of humanity. I like the idea of being a girl. The girls of Dark Souls have lots of humanity, so it makes sense.

Re: You know Havel right?
And the part of the interview that confirms humanity is a fragment of the Dark Soul.
- I): Our next question. Is furtive pygmy that only appears in the prologue the main
protagonist that had inheritted the lord soul in a different world?
(P): Its bit of a spoiler but first of all its "pygmy" (小人 in jp can be read differently)
(I): pygmy
(P): "It aint written anywhere so how could I know". The image is something like a human
ancestor. It found the Lord Soul and humanity is like a fragment of it. Kinda like
an ancestor, so the descendants have a part of that soul.
(IM): aww I see

Re: You know Havel right?
Pfft. All the lore is connected. "You know havel?" "Yeah. the guy who turned undead by a friend. Wouldn't it be funny if Havel was the Pygmy all along? That'd be hilarious, but I guess the pygmy was a female originally, but now is all of its ancestors. And the pygmy created hard humanity."

So if Havel is trapped why is he guarding a door? Why doesn't he take off if you open the doors without killing him?
