Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
But is far easier to build around armor, a long as the 3 poise breaks are hit.
From a lore perspective, it doesn't make sense either, if i've trained myself to survive with the balder side sword I found, anything else would be completely alien and get me killed, on top of that, I may not want to abandon the weapon that got me so far. You would turn me away because I can't fight with a darkesword?
Armor switching is less of an issue, as long as the weight and strength are similar it doesn't make much of a difference.
We really already had classes when we just had uniforms. Ultra light, prizing movement speed above all else. Light, values speed but wants some protection. Medium is balanced. Heavy prizes the protection of sturdy armor above all else.
Those are classes.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
Forum but what about the Wolf Ring. I have seen guys who just equip a Giant's Armor and some light armor pieces and get to 77 poise easily. I totally forgot about that when making the uniforms. All of them restrict the use of at least the FAP Ring or Havel's Ring. This is also true for full armor sets.

Also your lore is great but once you are part of the LH you must train to be proficient in the use of the terrible and powerful weapons that we will suggest!!!!!

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
everyone uses 1 of those rings or ultra light armor anyways, especially at sl 80, and the uniforms require neither. Fast rolling with them usually will, but fast rolling, or rolling at all, are not requirements to pvp well, it just takes a different skill set.WyrmHero wrote:Forum but what about the Wolf Ring. That wasn't my lore btw, it was just an example from a lore perspective.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
Oh well, I don't know what to do then. Everything so complicated regarding classes that I fear it could lower our power. But I really want some restrictions regarding weapons and armor. I think it's very nice to have our own weapons and armors. The classes are cool but it damn limits the builds due to DkS versatility mechanics. Nothing is changing yet. I need more ideas, suggestions and a final consensus from the Council.

And the rank incentives is a very good idea in my opinion but I don't know how to put it in practice.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
I say pick some stuff you dont want (like say Ornsteins set and spear) and ban them. Or more simply pick a bunch of armours you like and allow people to pick what they want. Because adding uniforms now is hard as you;ve seen.

I must admit Ornstein's chestpiece and leggings are gorgeous and really give that high rank feel.

You could take every set you use in your current uniforms and make them allowed. Use your current uniforms as suggested builds.

We already have uniforms, and they were non optional. He wants weapon restrictions. For a more class feel. Ie rogue, mage ect. Which is the debate

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
Weapon, as in weapon type restrictions? Would you not be able to use anything but a catalyst as a mage or something like that?
I personally think weapon restrictions are too drastic. After all armour combos can be fiddled with easily but people always like different weapons to eachother.
As a result of weapon preferences of people, it wouldn't be so much as which class you choose as much as which you be forced into because that's the weapon you like and use well kinda thing.

I'll change the planned Hand's build to SL 80 and try to use the Cursed Greatsword of Artorias. It seems like a proper weapon for a great leader.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
I suggest just being more active in enforcing the uniforms, from there you can try out some more restrictive things and find out if they suit the covenant and the players. Im sure you'd get people pushing the boundaries of classes anyway.
Personally while I like the concept of classes the Lifehunters were, in my mind, supposed to be a rag tag bunch of misfits.

Like the build, not the best but easily viable.Staminas a bit low, that will take some adjusting to.
What do you need?
Also, the hand is crazy now? If Etraiu decides he's unfit he shant be the hand for long, save direct intervention from pricilla.
