You could cripple us by not giving us weapons/armors/items anymore

If we want to be recognizable the we should do something drastic. And we are not ready to do that.

Well, whatever I guess. I liked the uniform. I'll be wearing them if possible anyways, I will look like the officer I am.

My constructive input has been limited not for lack of interest but rather for lack of knowledge. U all toss around gear, armor, stats like its nothing. i have to go look up everything. eventually, i hope to be as knowledgeable.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
Well see, the point is not to be uniform but to be unique imo. Joining the Life Hunter covenant should be about the technique of Life Drain, which includes bleed, poison, toxin, etc. Outcasts tossed into the Painted world sworn to protect the Queen and to utilize her deadly techniques. Anyways like I said it's about being unique not uniform. Outcasts usually don't dress like disciplined soldiers, they are specialized killers. This particular specialization is in Life Draining techniques.Forum Pirate wrote:That removes most elemental weapons.
The point of uniforms was to be recognisable, its not a realistic expectation at the moment, but disregarding uniforms would end it entirely.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
I disagree most strongly. They're outcasts. Some may wish to emulate the lifedraining techniques, but others won't have the inclination or ability to do so. We're a ragtag bunch of misfits, our skills are far from similar.
How could we offer a home to outcasts, then deny them because they favor a fire zweihander or gargoyals halberd? Thats against the 1 thing we stand for, that anyone who wants a home deserves one. They'll die to protect it, and leave cov ties and grudges at the door, what more can we ask?

I agree with this, but at the same time i disagree. We may have been outcasts when we started. But now there are more of us, and we should try to organize ourselves. That does not mean that we will have any large restrictions, but we can’t remain savages forever.

What would you have us do? Society is what shunned us, how is organising one going to help? Society always develops limits and shuns those who fail to meet their standards. By keeping our big rule, do not harm hunters or their interests within the pw unless they agree to a duel, we ensure that no one is excluded unless they intentionally outcast themselves.

Unless we band together and organize we will never be greater! Think of it! Is not civilization a small price to pay for glory? Just think of what we could accomplish!
We could have TWO WHOLE ARENAS!!! Is that not worth some sacrifice?

Not if the sacrifice is the exclusion of others. I need no greatness, no glory, only a place of peace and friendship to return to.

We do not NEED to exclude others! All we have to do is strike as a cohesive unit and the world will tremble at the sight of us! We could start our own world, with our own rules and history!
And if they do not follow it, they will become it! By that, I of course mean that we use them to fill in the land.

We have already made our own society. I was not talking about it, i was talking about our army. Tell me which one of these sound more dangerous. 1, an army of outcasts, without organization. And recklessly charging at their enemy. 2, Disciplined warriors. Who are trained to fight together.
I don’t mean that we are reckless savages, but you should get the point. Our army need some kind of training.

Forum you seem to be putting your wishes ahead of the others. It seems like while they cannot agree, SHkar, spur and wyrm want more cohesion, a moreunifed and recognised group.

@ Skar Excluding those who disagree with us. The very action that led us here.
@ Dough, I am putting our ideals first. Compramising them to protect them is not a good way to go. I did ask spur what his ideas were, what he would change

Oh no no no, you misunderstand! I'm not saying we should exclude them!
I'm saying that if they try to exclude us we should include them...in the construction of our mansions.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
My opinion is that cohesion is good. Perhaps emulate the knights; require uniforms and suggest weapons. Don't force the matter but those most dedicated will likely follow the suggestions. It seems a good compromise to me.
