The basic thing that I wanted from the beginning was being recognizable while being versatile. This way we can be a powerful covenant with the best warriors, all with different skills. That's why I need restrictions that can be versatile at the same time. I want restrictions because as I said I want everyone to remember our armors and weapons.
Forum I like the idea of us being outcasts but we serve under Queen Priscilla rule and I know she will love if we get united and start our own society in the Painted World. I also want to do wars outside of Painted World, with our own weapons, armors and gestures. The gesture really help us but I want more.

I'm willing to take out the uniforms in favor of more versatility of builds, while it's an awesome idea I think it's best to let everyone choose their own armor combo, or at least have high ranking looking armors for the high ranks, which is something I want to start thinking. And the weapons is an awesome idea I can't let it out of my head, but if I ever implement it, I want it to work, and not have way too many restrictions, which is the root of our covenant.

i need advise...sl 80: v23, e20, s28, d24, i28, f20. too generic, spread out? Intel and Faith are primarily for weapon scaling. Strength, so i can wipe out a big sword when i want.
But mostly, i like to move fast, strike quick.

@Wyrm. That’s why i said we could keep the uniforms, but not as many. IE one 8 P, one 36 P, one 53 P and one 76 P uniform.

Rank 1 and 2 could choose common armors from each of the armor categories...
Rank 3 gets meh looking armor
Rank 4 gets cool looking armor
Rank 5 gets high ranking armor
CMs get a token (headpiece or equipment)

Again some brainstorming... I still don't know if it's gonna work. I want rank incentives!!!!

Mah bad brosun. I honestly think this would be a real attractive covenant if the only focus was on life draining tactics and abilities. I might even consider having my Ninja chick join if that were the case, but it seems not so.

    What spur said.
Its really not limiting, the weight differences only rarely causes any issues, and I use the heaviest weapons in the game, so it makes the biggest difference for me. Also low ranks should be just as or more recognisable than high ranks, their are generally more of them.

The point is choice. You're free to focus on that all you'd like, but no one is required to. The lore, both ours and the game lore, just isn't there for that. Not here anyways.

Actually that could be our high ranking class. The art of Lifehunt, like the Dragonslayers of NK.

So you're forbidden to rank up If you don't use "acceptable" gear?

If you mean separate and specific groups, i have no problem with it, but it shouldn't be tied directly to rank, even if rank is a prerequisite. Being specialised shouldn't put you above other of the same main rank.

We're a role play heavy cov man. We wouldn't turn you away if you didn't want to, a few don't, but its definitely part of what we do. Here at least, in game we're just a bunch of people swapping stories and build, talking about random crap and dueling amongst ourselves.

Again, outcasts. We should be as unbiased as possible, rather than punishing people for not possessing "ideal" skill sets.

Again sounds awesome but we have to consider other variables too. It a good rank incentive in my opinion. I think I got the idea of the weapons and armors by rank now I have to work on this and see if its good.

In that case, why have rank at all? No real discipline it seems to me, so ranks would mean nothing. Perhaps another path should be taken instead to distinguish yourselves?
