I love the G Halbred. Lucerne is nice to and according to Amos Leo works with the lucerne since its all thrust damage.

Ive never actually liked the G halberd, and never thought it was good in the first place. but i see it ALOT, so i might try it out.

It's extremely good. Hits like a roided up schwarzenegger who just took PCP, and has enough reach to go to china and swat a nat off a pigs ***. The only downside is its easy to get parried, and if you whiff your taking a hit.

Do it but we know the Great Scythe is better!

GScythe is awesome, but at a higher level of play, it is easy for phantoms to BS you.

And, yes, I'm using elementals (once I get to Anor) and raw +5 at a lower level. Even at raw +5, it is really powerful.

So, I'm invading in the Depths, SL 22. I run into a guy rocking the Flameberge. He hit me for 90% of my health (one hit). It turned out to be fire(or Chaos). Here I am with a raw +5 GH. I whip out my backup Lightning. I parry his arse, and he lives!! I wonder how high his SL had to be to withstand a lightning GH riposte.

A lightning GH would have Riposted for about 1143hp, amazing he survived that.

I've PvPed people in the 100 range with my 20. And, you're right about the riposte damage. It was over 1100.

Don't forget the GH jump attack, fwd + R2, dead angles really well!

I'll have to try the jump attack. I've got 40 host kills already (SL 22). I've done lower undead burg and the depths. I'm off to the parish, then b-town, followed by the catacombs.

I'm only using weapons, armor, and items that are easily obtainable for that area. I'm even using raw +5 weapons.

I dunno Reim those Raw weapons are pretty OP

I wonder if people think I'm using a glitched weapon, or a maxed out weapon. The GH is a powerhouse. I keep expecting hatemail from a OHK BS. If I'm playing an obvious new player, I will really really avoid BSing them. So easy to counter strafe and BS. But, still, it must be done.

The GH crits really are strong. It's kind of ridiculous and if you go elemental they're retarded good

Yeah Ive noticed that from being BSed a few times over the last few days.... Is it something about the weapon? Or does it just seem like you are being massacred?

It has the highest elemental AR I believe, so it would hurt a lot.

So, I've got 25 host kills tonight. I'm in Btown and am invading some seriously high levels (I'm at 22). One of them had a SKS and his phantom had a CMW buffed WP. Another had over 1K in health, fast rolling with a Great Club. Needless to say, I didn't win either match.
