    Hiring Arnold schwarzenegger as a voice actor and have him say the same stupid thing a thousand times in every town you come is a bad idea! (Skyrim again lol).

    This may piss someone off, but the twist endings where the protagonist survives. Stop it. We get you want to continue milking the series for more money, but you can atleast introduce us to a new character since the old one was already at the end of his character arc. (Dead Space 2 I'm looking at you, as well as you mgs 5)

    The final boss swap. You finally kill the big bad guy and some random world eater or god of death or what have you suddenly springs from the ground and demands you fight him. (JRPG complaint)

    Also wether "boob room" is acceptable, imo, depends on the genre, overall tone and armor type. EX: skyrim steel plate, no. skyrim leather, yes. Star Ocean, yes. COD (or equivalent), no.

    I was talking about how games that try to create a realistic representation of medieval/rennaisance weapons and armour go and create a chainmail bikini, basically.

    It's like creating a sword without a hilt or grip, just because it looks cool.

    And Japanese productions are exempt from this complaint; you can't expect realism out of manga generally silly

    ^The overuse of swords in general in games. Why can't the main character be a proper knight with a proper spear or pole axe?!

    Getting to be head honcho of some faction or other and still getting slagged off by your minions and other NPC's and not being able to shout 'off with their heads'! Bugs me no end.

    On GTA when you get chased out of town and your solution is to take a 5 minute drive further away, cause that'll really stop 'em.

    I hate the fact that games can NEVER let the bad guy win. Seriously, I want just one which the ending is your character dying and failing, and the ensuing consequences of that.

    I think there are some games out there that actually did that; the First Generation section of Fire Emblem 4 comes to mind.

    anyways yeah Heavy rain lets you too... But it's only optional. I mean where the actual ending is you fail with no exception. Even if you kill the final boss/finish final mission, the world still ends, or the love interest dies or whatever flimsy reason there was to take on what you were doing.

    Dark Souls technically does that with its ending, since you were pretty much a pawn and get used either way.

    Also don't forget Shadow of the Colossus, it isn't as dark as I hope. But it is very high up there.

    Yeah. Maybe they don't let evil win, but some games actually make you feel like a bastard.

    The example I mentioned is particularly surprising, considering the game was released in the later half of the '90s, for the SNES no less, and the villain killed eighteen out of your nineteen characters without you having any way of preventing it.

    Yeah. In an RPG, a tactical RPG, where characters grow and have their own personalities. And they just killed your entire party.

    That's why I didn't like New Vegas as much as Fallout 3. Too many factions & whichever one you went with meant sacrificing a favourite, like The Brotherhood of Steel if you sided with Mr. House to preserve New Vegas. I didn't do it. In fact I didn't do any of them because I couldn't make my mind up. As far as I'm concerned 'New Vegas' was very unsatisfying to play because of this.
