The Followers of Izalith: Thread 2

I don't like it when our Servants think >:O!

Hey, I'm considering making a build just to harass people with slight annoyances, and I decided to consider having him join the Followers!

To that end, I was hoping to have some help to get him to conform to the rules of the covenant. So, lend me a hand if you don't mind.

TWoP makes you ineligible for anything but Izalith path. And the fact that you use any melee makes you ineligible for the Izalith path.

Take away TWoP, and you can choose between these two:

Put on the Thorn's Helm, and you can do the Exhile Follower Path.
Have an Infected Head, and you can join the Infected Path

There's a few others, but it seems this build fits those two. If you want to not use a melee at all, go ahead and use the TWoP and be part of the Izalith Path. (You can also invade any Follower Area, instead of just one.)

And that's what I have come up with Since we're a pyromancy based covenant, each path requires you to use only pyromancies, or very few pyromancies. Only the Izalith path has no spell restrictions. But the one restriction it is the fact that you can't use an melee.

EDIT: Scratch that. Sorry. Only Pyromancy and Sorcery are allowed in the Izalith Path. So, TWoP makes you ineligible for The Followers haha!

Actually, even the Izalith path is only sorcery and pyromancy, and the build would be worthless because it would be impossible to harass people with it without TWOP.

The idea of the build was to slow them down, break their gear, infect them with the egghead, and start sucking out their humanity. The melee weapon was just there so I could actually have a shot at an actual win.

So, looks like no Follower status with this build.

Anyway, yeah. So far, no miracles in The Followers. I guess that's why Servant was thinking about it. But, there isn't much lore to connect miracles to Izalith, since it was a place of Sorcery that turned into a place of Pyromancy...

Nah, it's not that big of a deal. I had thought up the build and went, "Oh! Follower build!", so I decided to check on it. I never really got my hopes that high, since I know the restrictions are pretty broad.

Has anyone participated in this weeks event ?

I haven't because my follower didn't want to kill Fire Sage because he likes to still be able to GraveLord there

You could have dumped 30 humanity into the Chaos Servants to open the door.

Although, I suppose killing them with the lava when you yourself can't go in the lava would be tough...

Ive dumped 1800 humanity but I still don't have the ring

Ive been working a lot. And pveing.

Yeah ive only played dark souls for 2 nights this week ,

been hanging with friends whole evening & ended up staying up all night chilling here on the forum

Im going to come back hard next week , ready for recovering forces !

I tried this morning, I actually got a kill....but it wasnt the lava. It was the monsters in the lava. Soooo it doesnt really count. It was funny though! Its difficult to get anyone to stay down there if your lucky enough to invade someone thats still in that area, or get them into the lava long enough. They want to stay in the two buildings or just refuse to come down there. I invaded probably 15-20 times over a few hours, and only had two guys that even touched lava. One kicked my butt and the other was killed before I could get to him and try to keep him there.

I'm sitting here waiting for a summon. Because I want to get logan's sorcery. So, I need souls.

Was starting to wonder if you guys forgot about the event being I it hadnt been posted in the last three pages lol.

Sorry for my absence. I've been very busy and my dads out of town so I'm taking care of the house. I kinda guessed that this event would be hard being most people are pansies and don't want to fight with any form of disadvantage, but we can only hope for the best. Glad to see you guys are still trying though.

I'll have another event next week, so don't think I've forgotten.

Also, joe, I have seen your message, and I'm searching for songs right now. So far, Everything Burns by Anastacia ft Ben Moody is the best one I can think of.

It was funny, he was trying to get away from me and they trampled him. Funny but disappointing after Finally getting someone in the ******* lava! Lol

Best idea to get them into the lava. Let them smack you around a bit, then run. Who would let a free kill escape? If you have low health, they'll go straight through the fires of izalith to kill you...and die trying

My follower didn't want to kill Fire Sage & the Centipede to get the ring ,because he likes to still be able to GraveLord there

I haven't played much at all last week , but I killed a glitcher with 5000 HP in B-town yesterday without healing myself..

lol at first that guy came charging at me convinced he would beat my A.. uhh ... ''egg'' !
