Opponents Weapons

What weapon/type of weapon are you always happy to see an opponent using because you just find it easier? Sure, there is always an exception when going against someone who uses them extremely well, but just in general

I have always found the Man Serpent Greatsword to be on of the easiest weapons to fight against followed by most katanas (chaos blade always catches me with my shield down though). I have no idea why, but I just don't have as much difficulty with these as I do with Zwei, Moonlight greatsword and Dragon Slayer Spear users.

What do you find easier to fight against?

UGS GS's Axes GA's any str weapon and a katana/curved sword.

any str weapons, rapiers, and straight swords.

Same plus katanas. I see it as it doesn't matter what weapon the persons using, what matters is how they wield it, except when that person is using a stupidly slow weapons or any kind of magic.

I always seem to lose the fight against acronyms for what ever reason. I just can't beat that weapon.

On-Topic: I love fighting katanas of all types, and most Ultra-Greatswords. Easy to parry because, A- I've spent a ton of time using Katanas, and B- Ultra-Greatswords are freaking slow.

Ultra Lengthy Spear type weapon, and Bow users. These weapon raise my alarm to evaluate the opponent more before going for the kill.

Any other weapon, not so much as the move set is predictable/manageable.

Rapiers and STR weapons against people who try to fight fair with them and not just bs fish the whole time. I'm getting better at fighting the fishers too, fighting unlocked with my mura or washing pole and turning as they try to pivot, roll, or circle me while attacking is really effective, they usually just ignore the hits and end up stunlocked, not once do the idiots realize that my CMW washing pole is hitting them for 500+ damage a hit and they should maybe give up a futile bs attempt.

Anything not a rapier or life hunt scythe.

Any halberd users. I think its because i know the weaknesses well.. since i use halberds as well haha! Anyone who tries to beat me with a g halberd just cause im using it is going down.

Greathammers and ultra greatswords: My procentual success on winning against these weapons is really, really high. They are easy to visualparry and really easy to roll away from and punish.

Shotel: is ridicilously easy to blindparry.

Fistweapons: usually no-one uses these, but if I see someone using them I usually switch to claw myself because otherwise they don't stand a chance.

Spears: these f*ckers got the speed, the range and the shieldpoke + spears are one of the hardest weapons to blindparry.

Lifehunt Scythe: This weapon destroys me so often it's not even funny. The bleed and the dead angle-properties of this weapon is almost impossible to deal with when playing naked.

Bows: I hate fighting someone who just runs away and shoots poisonarrows (when playing naked you get poisoned by one hit) SUPER FRUSTRATING.

Pyromancy: Do I really explain this? Pyromancy by far the most cheapest thing in this game (IMO) the dmg with the crown of dusk is just out of this world and in PvP-areas like Undead Burg it's really easy to dominate your opponent with it. You don't need to sacrifice any levels to use pyromancy just make sure you got attunement slots and you're good to go.

But pyromancy is SUUUPER slow. Its like gc is "let me just reach down here and ignite this flame behind your shield. 'Xcuse me. Thanks." Plus its short range. Roll bs anyone? Tempest is easily avoidable. Ive had someone roll all the way through it with dwgr... i really like my g halberd over pyromancy. Oh, and fireballs are also pointless. Few casts and easily dodgable. Whip is ok, same with surge, but i see no one using these

im gonna have to disagree with that, i think you just havent come up against someone that knows how to use them, a chaos great fireball can take two thirds of your vit with one shot with dragon ring and crown of dusk specially in tight places like the burg, i find it hard to go up against since it can stun you very easily and if you make a moistake youre dead, plus if theres even a little more lag than usual GC will hit you when youre trying to roll bs.

Ive almost never gotten hit by.. i dont think ive ever gotten hit by a gcf... :| huh. Cant remember any instances.

Yeah, not locking on is the key to destroy with pyromancy and last I checked great combustion is nowhere near slow. I agree on the Tempest though... it's really, really easy to evade and punish, but some players follow up backstab with tempest and...well that's it for you.

I guess ive never gone up against any good pyromancers.

You should fight Spades in the Burg when he's using the pyro-build your view on pyromancy not being lethal would quickly change.

I am a pyromancer myself. I know what it can do haha! It usually is just a great way to mix things up, but by itself, it usually can be avoided. Other than whip and surge, like i said

I am looking at how much lag the opponent as brought with him/her rather then what weapon they are using.
As a base weapon to a +15 buff are all the same if you are fighting with very bad lag.

buffed anything, especially fast buffed weapon.
