I have been wanting to +1 this. But I see no little + sign anywhere. I do see a little green bar on the first section that says you got 12 votes and all of that though...

Yes, at the moment, I am putting together some notes on ranged weaponry. However, I am going to take a more leisurely pace when writing it. It was quite exhausting to put together the exhaustive article, and, in addition to having to test the various weapons that are rarely used, I am naturally a slow writer. Further along, I will have tested various spells, and the what-not to write a magic portion of the article. Then I will go through, and polish the 'Mindset'+'Mechanics' portion of the article. Then will come a final draft to deal with the minutiae of making something so large.

Hey roan. I tired to DL it, but it requires me to add the prototype app to my Facebook account. Is there another place you can upload it?

Some people have been having trouble understanding what a Dead-angle is, so I put together a little graphic to help explain.
    Dead Angles:
If it looks alright, I'll add it to the main guide. Most importantly, if there are any new players looking over it right now, does this help clear up any confusion? (Right Click+View Images to see the entire thing.)

Since some people have trouble seeing my images, I'll be including a link at the end of such posts in the future. Like right here for the previous image. I like being the only person being able to right click.

I right click, but don't have the option of view image. I can inspect the element, scroll down to the picture link, click that and view the pic from the inspection window, however. That's almost as simple, right?

Currently added suggested builds for each weapon; these aren't "Style n' Fun" builds, beware! This bumps the version number up by 0.1, but expect some more elaboration on the self-explanatory ones soon.

A little thing you might want to add to the chart, most dead angles require a weapon that still passes through the enemy. So swinging while facing away with say, a spear, will just attack away from the opponent. But for example the murakumo, the weapons swing starts the arc behind you, thus it is great for dead angling because of how the weapon is swung.

Hi, since I am having some trouble actually getting Magic down, and currently thinking of rewriting Great Hammers to encompass a new sort of playstyle I have recently encountered. So, not only to help me write more, but also help you, I ask any new players that have questions about anything in the guide, or how to use any type of Magic, please post away.

Lol at Void: "The law of causality has spoken. A fish may jump from the water but it will be unable to change the stream's course. There is nothing that can be done, for fate has already been decided. Prepare to Die!"

Anyway, great guide to PvP. Not really that helpful to someone who's already familiar with it, but a treasure trove of information for newer players. Also, I disagree with you on rapiers. Chaos +5 might be better for crits because they ignore a lot of defense, but for regular attacks, +15 is better with 40/40. Also, only raw physical damage will receive the benefit of the Leo ring.

    Next chapter of Berserk when?

The important thing to remember about Piercing Swords is that the most attractive feature about them is dealing high critical damage, and low weight. There are better weapons to deal straight forward damage, and to benefit from the Leo Ring; the Balder Side Sword comes to mind immediately, but on the general Quality style build, the Halberd is incredibly fearsome. However, the normal +15 Piercing Sword has its place as viable buff vehicle; the quick, isolated hits, and running combo attack makes sure you get the most out of the temporary enchantment. The regular attack of the Piercing Swords are underwhelming, and should only be used in support with something else; the Leo Ring might increase the damage, but it will generally be underwhelming no matter what.
