Man Serpent Greatsword. The rolling R1 of the large hammers is very fast too.

If you want a fast weapon, strength is the wrong stat. As is, just use claymore or bastard sword.

Serious is right. I guess the club or other small hammer wouldnt be a bad idea, although upgrading one just for that boss seems like a waste. You know you can kill that channeler who buffs the gaping dragon before the fight, right?

msgs, pickaxe and mace kick *** and are really fast if you hit your target everytime. for pvp msgs and the rest for pve unless youre good at parrying and bs'ing.
