Before I enter BT, I would like to knowbif Griggs goes to the Firelink Shrine by this stage of the game, because I'd really like some new spells before I venture into the barely lit paths of BT. If he isn't in Firelink yet, when does he go there and begin selling spells?

after you save him, and usually after you kill the capra* demon he will be at fire link shrine, idk if you have to kill him.

As long as you rescue him and do a screen transition (save-load/quit/homeward bone/etc) he will be in Firelink.
