Hey Dough if you add Artorias will I be allowed to alter my knight to fit that group aka change to Oolacile knight and Artorias specialization? Please? I could even try making lore for the new one. Each successor is a leader of a prestige.
Ornstein - Dragonslayers (obvious)
Artorias - Knights of Havel (big tough etc)
Gough - Crystal Seekers (Ranged attacks)
Ciaran - Sunlit Knights (... shut up)
Yes I know they dont fit that well but it works
SO in order to become one you must -
Be a division sergeant
Be specced in that spec (part of being a division serg)
DO something else I will think of to prove yourself
Finally you must wear their armour, ring and wield their weapons as your uniform.
What do you think?

We have to use their ring? Ugh.
So would I want to give up 243 HP, 32 Stamina, and the easy use of DSGB, or medium roll instead of flip?

Meh I'll live. I will be making an Artorias cosplay no matter what though whether or not I can use it here. Maybe I will just use him as an FH or something.
