Re: Crystal Weapons.
This whole crystal weapon thing is pretty dirty to me... it actually effects pvp, almost as bad as divine blessing spam.
With out the dupe method no done would do this unless they farmed 24/7.
Duping green grass, humanity, ect... have no direct effect on pvp.

He drops it 100% of the time when killed but he doesn't sell it. It's either him or a Big Skellie drop, though I've never had a skeleton drop me one.

Re: Crystal Weapons.
At the first bonfire in ToTG you can farm it from the MASSIVE group of giant skellies guarding the large divine ember. I threw a few chaos fireballs down before going down, and that cleared up alot of the group. Maybe alluring skulls and then GCFB like mad, then plummeting attack and finish off the stragglers?

Re: Crystal Weapons.
For weapons that are not bought in a vender why not just down grade it back to normal +10 and then re upgrade to crystal +5, it will be repaired then.
Would only meed to carry like 3 around instead of 100

Re: Crystal Weapons.
You can't downgrade crystal weapons. Atleast I'm sure you can't. You CAN use the repair spell on it though, so at a bonfire you could just do that.

Is that done the same way people buff unbuffable weapons??

Most likely using the spell glitch, same way people buff boss weapons.

No. The only way Crystal weapons can be repaired is through upgrading them. Once they are maxed out, they are not repairable.

Re: Crystal Weapons.
Yeah, 50 ar is just as bad as instant full health. Totally.
I use crystal weapons when I'm not being lazy, they last longer than I expected, and that boost can really healp with some wepons, mostly big weapons im my experience, needing to land that extra hit can really suck.

It is using a glitch to gain an advantage in pvp. I don't have any issue with duping items to make your life easier and save time, as long as its not to gain am unfair advantage over other players.
Just my opinion. I will most likely use crystal weapons in fight club however, now that I know everyone else does or plans to.

Its not an unfair advantage. If they wanted it, they'd have it, one way or another. I used crystal +4 weapons for a long time, traded for/farmed the chunks I needed. Didn't go +5 often, but I had one on me for the really serious fights.

Re: Crystal Weapons.
Never did, I farmed 1 or 2 and saved the +5 crystal weapons for the really challenging encounters, used +4 otherwise. That was my point, even without the glitch, if they wanted crystal weapons it wouldn't take to long to get them. Its their fualt if they don't care enough.

So you save it for tough encounters.... not using it in every single duel you do.
See the difference? Thanks for proving my point

Re: Crystal Weapons.
That doesn't prove your point. Its not an unfair advantage.
I saved them for the tough encounters because I was usually going to win without them, and having them when I didn't wouldn't have saved my opponent.
I'd wager that most of the time (and I know this is true for me) 50 ar isn't going to make a damn bit of difference in who wins the fight, where even a mediocre player with 99 dbs is a serious threat to a skilled player without 99 dbs.

If it is not an advantage why do it???
You having access to an unlimited supply of more powerful weapons that you normally wouldn't have, I call that an advantage. I think most people would agree.
