Crystal Weapons.

The person eats a GCFB first hit then the 2h dash from the GS followed by the lava damage that is 1.6k + damage... Perfect for the forest!

Actually I think a support group for crystal weapon trading would be neat. I know I'd trade most any limited or rare weapon for more BSS, I also accrue a few great scythes I end up looking at sometimes but never using. Or I know the Liato is a popular weapon but I prefer the Uchi's moveset and I can buy a million of those from shiva anyhow. So I'd be willing to toss Liato's as well. at least Falchions are farmable at a decent rate

Another good way to make Crystal weapons last a while longer is to upgrade it to +3 first... and then upgrade them accordingly when they are at risk

+3 is no good, +4 *might* be acceptable, it depends.

really having no reliable way to repair them is a huge pain and means mostly people wont use them accept when it really counts.

Hahaha. I'm making a bunch of the dex weapons. I don't mess with str much these days. Mostly Uchi's/BSS/PGS (which rules, btw)/shortbow.

I need a good solid dex weapon line up that can all be farmed/bought indefinitely. I usually run two primary weapons, an offhand weapon that can parry, and the Darkhand. Usually something like Iaito/Estoc in the main, Ricard's or PGS/Darkhand in the off. I've gotten used to the Uchi's moveset, butthe c/c scaling on the Rapier makes it a junk option on a straight up dex build, crystal or not. Guess I could go BSS or stop being a dopey b*tch and just use the +15 Estoc like I always have. Hahaha.

I really like the PGS though and they don't take long to farm anyway.

@damage the estoc is the perfect off hand weapons dude. and like amos said go with the falchion, that thing kicks ***.

The Falchion and Scimitar are good for the extra range, but the PGS has really high damage (438AR at crystal+5) and it bleeds. I usually use the Estoc as a main 'cause I love the R2. I like Ricard's in the off a lot though. Don't know what it is, but for some reason lately I just really need to have a lot of weapons on me at all times. Haha.

I agree with a previous poster; the BB glitch is there to make things easier. This is a grey area though, as you can get slabs if you want to spend hours and hours at it.

I may plan for one though for really important fights. (tourney fights)

BB is getting fixed in DLC though. If anyone want a crystal weapon by then they'll have to get it the good old way: farming.

So you say, we don't have the dlc so it may well still be possible, just haven't had the opportunity to figure out how yet. If the other dupe glitch still works, infinite divine blessings (and any other consumable excluding arrows) will still be quite possible, it will just take longer.

I'm going to build up huge stores of maxed crap while I can, in case my supply is cut off. I'll trade post patch, but it won't come cheap. I'll need to keep my supplies up after all. May copy mildred and do a store if the dupe glitchs are really out.
